when the class of '45 enrolled in Sept '41 the enrollment was 1200, in Sept '42 600;
Last month I met a classmate of Mr Wizbicki. Edwin Meyer, age 93, was a frosh in 1941 and one of the first 115 Navy ROTC students. After Pearl Harbor the academic calendar was accelerated so that he et al could be qualify to be commissioned in 1943. His diploma was mailed to him aboard a ship in the Pacific which was put out of action later by a kamakazi attack.... John E Brooks enlisted in the Army in the summer after Pearl Harbor and served with Patton in France, he returned to graduate with the class of '49.
