Didn't care about unis until I saw the 2017 version. Whoever designed or approved them should be reassigned.

It seems to cut off with about 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter and the score at 44-19.

Ah, the rest is just "details," RGS.😜
I have only found the time to watch the first half and hope to catch the rest later today. Thanks for the tip of the cutoff so I have lowered my expectations accordingly.

It seems to cut off with about 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter and the score at 44-19. That would be just about the time that my video feed died. It was about at the 3-hour mark and I had the sense (just speculating) that it was programmed to terminate at that time rather than continue to the end. SoV provided an alternate livestream site where I was able to resume watching but I have no way to know whether that is still available.

I wish we could produce a highlight video even if it just showed the scoring plays--I'd love to see Dorsey's 86 yard TD but it came after the cutoff mark on the video....

For those who don't have time to watch the entire video and/or more interested in the LAC and what it means for HC, go to 2:47:15 of the video for the interview with Nate Pine.
He must have used the word "brand" at least 7 or 8 times and when pressed about what the ladies going to Hockey East means with the clear implication of whether or not HC goes to HE, he responds that we "are always looking for opportunities."
This is all very consistent with the stated and implied messages that Fr. B has given that he sees athletics as a way to extend the Holy Cross brand which is probably needed much more than the U.S. Coast Guard needing to extend their brand as some think.

Really not a fan of the new unis, especially how they turn a noticeable darker gray with sweat.

Really not a fan of the new unis, especially how they turn a noticeable darker gray with sweat. I like 'em! Further more, from what I hear they are really popular with the players.

It is a very different look. I was not sure at first, but each time HC scored I found the unis were growing on me!

I also thought they were pretty cool and I like them a lot more after Saturday. I also heard the players like them and if they give them that little extra juice during the game, all the better. At least they aren't black!! (See posts under the old forum of my back and forths with RW when the BB team wore black and I objected to him).

If the players like them and keep winning, they can wear tutus for all I care!

sader1970, merci!!
It may be the archived video ran out at about 4 hours because that's all the time they store, and the game doesn't start until the 1:11 mark on the video. IAs it was on livestream to the end, the the broadcast ran to the end as well..
I noticed the Railers are a sponsor.
And, there is a pan of both stands at kickoff, and again about two minutes into the second quarter. Perhaps ADNP distributed free tickets to every student, and many/most of the students are there in spirit and in the announced attendance.
Props to the grounds crew and facilities. The field has never looked better.

Yes, I noticed the Railers were a sponsor but I also found it interesting that two other educational institutions were also sponsors, Nichols College and Worcester State.
As for the field, it looked gorgeous - even better in person. While I understand the practicality of artificial turf, I would bet that close to 100% of the players would rather play on a grass field when it looks like that.

Speaking of the field, did you all see the play where a couple of Crusaders team tackled a Wildcat so hard that when he got up he had a huge chunk of turf clogging his face mask? You can't do that with an artificial turf field.....

On the old board, there was a discussion about unis with barely legible numbers. IIRC, there was reference to a new or existing NCAA rule that the officials could prohibit a team taking the field if the numbers weren't sufficiently legible. There were several reasons given, unfair to opponents if they didn't know who the players were, and to the referees who couldn't call certain penalties, specifically OL downfield on a pass play. As the CGS report indicates, scouting can be impeded. Do you suppose Dartmouth will be able to read the uni numbers on the film? www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/ncaa-uniform-numbers-getting-harder-to-read-causing-problems/Look at the black and black Oakland U. hoops uniforms.
