It will take 2/3 years, but feels like we can get to that middle/competitive level pretty quickly. Not to say we will be beating BC, but the freshmen that will be on campus next fall will by definition be replacing seniors who are much less talented and equipped to play Hockey East level teams.

Not the prettiest game Friday at Franklin Pierce, but we were the better team with better hockey players and pulled it out. Van Buskirk hopes to clean up the sloppy play for a midweek tilt vs FP. Would like to see the band and more students show up. It was a great atmosphere for the men.
All the damage against China came from the top line of American born collegiate athletes of Chinese decent. Interesting...

Road series this weekend at St. Michael's. The Purple Knights beat Post decisively 4-2 and 4-1, but fell to SUNY Potsdam, a D3 program (about .500 the last few years). Post went 0-23 last year, which was the first season (i believe) in varsity competition as a D2 Indy.

SHU has been a D1 indy for a while now and seems to always play us well. Frosh goalie Pelletier really saved our hides on a few in tight plays. Pride of Worcester Academy continues to do a good job while Tessie Salatas finished up the rowing season. In the words of the kids today, Violette's game winner was dirty. Back hand top cheese!
And...the women (imho) have much better uniforms than the men.
