The visitor's locker room "issue" at Fitton Field has always made no sense to me.
Fixing a locker room for our opponents should literally be the last thing on the list of priorities for any changes to our facilities.

Reading the article brought back a lot of memories to me...From my coaching days, playing at St. Mary's in Worcester, no showers, no bathrooms, no space..to my college days playing ice hockey at the Worcester Arena, just a few nails in the walls to hang some clothes on. To shower we had to walk under the stands and into the public men's room to use the one "shower"..and remember to leave something on your feet..It was cold, one could see their breath on that walk! (and talk to all our friends)..so many locker rooms with no hot water, or running water...White stadium in Boston, a big room, nothing in it...no lockers, tables, chairs...just a big room...I'm sure many athletes have so many stories to tell..

How about a classroom as a locker room ! The worst was sharing a locker room as the visiting basketball team with the home wrestlers. The wrestlers paraded, naked, past our team after their weigh in. Or the many times as the visiting team using the girls’ locker room and some girls were not told.

Even Harvard and Yale’s visiting facilities are horrible. Forget about Dartmouth and Brown.
One of the nicer visiting locker rooms I’ve been to is San Diego where coincidentally my brother plays now.
Navy’s are awesome but I haven’t played there since high school.
This is really the last thing we should be concerned about.

As I understand it, the visitors are to get a new locker room at Fitton. (Part of the new locker room building for softball, baseball, etc. the sports that didn't get a locker room on top of the hill.) The plumbing and drains in the visitors locker room are probably ancient, beyond the point of economical repair, and, besides, the college wants to move Fitton utilities out of the flood plain.

Reminds me of playing CYO basketball as a kid. We made it a point to find a men's room near-ish the court where we could talk strategy and not have opposing teams' dads hear what we had to say.
One year, we had a kid on the team that got almost no playing time. His parents rarely came to the game, but on this one particular occasion, his mom sat at half court, courtside. As the game neared the end and the son didn't even approach the scorer's table, mom's frustration culminated in a "Steve must go! Steve must go! Steve must go!" chant. I'll let you guess my coach's first name.
After the game, we had our post-game quick recap in the same men's room. Aforementioned player's mom burst in yelling at the coach, asking why her son wasn't good enough to play, etc. Our coach said, "ma'am, if you won't allow the courtesy to have this conversation away from my players, could you at least have the decency to get out of the men's bathroom?"

Hopefully they will give the HOME team a new locker room at Fitton as well as the visitors. My understanding is that the home team will primarily have to live with its large-sized, locker room on top of the hill. ^^^^This is from 2015, and my guess it is the Fitton locker room. But I could be wrong. ^^^^This is from 2013, and it would not surprise me that this is lacrosse using the football locker room. My recollection is that the football locker room at the Hart was completely re-done 5-6 years ago. From the plans, the football locker room and wet core at Luth is about the length of the Hart court (baseline to baseline), and half the width of the court. Supposedly, there is to be a sports medicine room in the new set of locker rooms by Fitton which will be used by both teams.

PP, your first picture looks like the Lehigh visitor's locker room. The photo came from the HC equipment twitter feed, referencing the Lehigh game, so your correction is spot on. DiMarz, that photo from the athletics annual report is of the men's lacrosse locker room. You can tell by the narrow, north-facing window.

The visiting teams are doing just fine at Fitton with the current locker room. True, the wins they have been getting more than compensated them for the condition of their locker room.

This is the former lacrosse changing room that had been located in an old squash racquetball court.

The HC Football team today, changed in and out of game day uniforms across the street from the Yale Bowl, in the locker rooms at the Connecticut Tennis Center.
Apparently the "Bowl" does not have adequate accommodations for a least the visiting team to change and shower after the game.
