I know there are not a lot of Yankee fans here but there are at least a few. ALDS was as much fun as I've had watching the Yankees in a long time. Would like to keep it going against the Astros but they're tough. Good decision to skip Gray and go with Tanaka on regular rest in my opinion.

Should be a great series with the Yankees facing the outstanding Astros. I watched last few innings of Cubs Nationals last night and was hoping Nats would prevail so we could see Harper play some more, but Cubs Dodgers will be another great series

Houston is fun team to watch. Play like they're still an NL club, which is why I like them, as I much prefer NL to AL.

As a Yankee fan for over 60 years, I was thrilled with their play against Cleveland (except for game #2). I expect this one to be close, but Houston will take game 1.

The Astros are good....last 8 games the Sox played were against them this year...if they have a weakness, it's their overall relief pitching which the Sox were nevah really able to take advantage of....Yankees had bettah get up early in these games or this will be a quick series imo.

Defintely not ideal. Yankees just can't stop striking out. Pitching has been great on both sides.

Don't really blame Chapman. No shame in giving up a single and a double tobAltive and Correa. That's the toughest part of a very tough lineup. I would have left Robertson in for another inning given that he was only at 19 pitches. And, yes, Betances is deep in the doghouse. Last time he pitched, he walked both batters he faced and was nowhere near the strike zone.

Betances is now a middle game reliever for Girardi. He won't likely be in for closing for set-up at any time in this series.

Big win for the Yankees last night. Made Charlie Morton look like Charlie Brown. Big opportunity for Sonny Gray to earn his pinstripes tonight. And we have officially seen the last of Betances for the 2017 season. For the second consecutive appearance, he faced two batters and walked them both. It was 8-0 at the time. Totally lost. Hope he can get it back by next season.

Betances & Sanchez are a bad combo late in the game; junk ballers CC & Tanaka have held up; 'stros still have upper hand but if Sanchez/Judge start to make contact... love Altuve... very good baseball... execution of tight plays in tight games really counts... Bird looks a little mechanical around the bag

Betances should have been traded last year. 29 years old now, has always been too mental for his own good. The bullpen version of AJ Burnett. Lights-out stuff, tough to control, distracted concentration is his doom.
Yanks should be up 3-0. Not spoken about with their lead, but the Astros aren't hitting anything. The Yanks are hitting just a little less. It would help if they didn't swing at anything, anywhere, at all times. 92, don't play catch with your kids in the backyard this afternoon... Judge/Castro/Sanchez/Gardner/Headley are going to chase after it.
