I like the way this guy uses 'low major' properly and doesn't lump all non-power conference teams as 'mid major' - we're low major right now, and I want a legit 'mid major' team soon !

So no one else has to scroll down, here are some teams of possible interest. BTW, the best and probably most accurate thing about this list is the names of the mascots. Things are looking good for RI basketball fans with URI #25 and PC #26. Once proud UConn down to #39.
My biggest question is how well College of Charleston is ranked at #48. Must be their great assistant coach, right? How come we can't get guys like that?
Bucknell 72 Yale 73 Syracuse 87 (oh, the humanity!) Harvard 91 (they need to emphasize basketball more) Iona 96 Ohio State 97 (someone should be fired) BC 99Georgetown 120 Lehigh 157 (finally a 2nd PL team) BU 166 (the real BU, in Boston) Fairfield 182 (why aren't they in the PL? They must be rated higher than us academically.) UMass 192 UNH 205 Colgate 206 Fordham 209 (they aren't good enough for the PL!) Navy 223 Siena 245 (the miss McCryBaby) Army 261 HC 277 Brown 291 American 306 Lafayette 324

Taking a real quick scan - looking at teams, not write-ups for the most part, I stumbled on this (that may annoy a few)
267. Nebraska Omaha Mavericks
No more Tra-Deon Hollins, who was one of the most opportunistic thieves in recent mid-major history. Hollins stole the ball at a top-five clip in college hoops the past two seasons. Mitch Hahn becomes the go-to guy.

Certainly wish Mitch well. That said, Omaha is picked to finish sixth in the Summit, he didn't make either the first or second pre-season all-conference team, and his defense does call to mind RW's reputed observation about Adam May
