LB Brady got hosed. So did McBeath for D POY.
I think everything else made sense.

Looks like a fair set of selections. Congratulations to those Crusaders who earned all-PL honors.

If McBeath played at Lehigh he'd be POY.

Chase Edmonds 2nd Team ??
If he played enough for 2nd team, he should have been 1st team, that good

"Colgate led all schools with 13 all-League selections, including nine on the first-team."
Seems like they have the formula down...

Seems fair. 7-4 Colgate's Frosh QB had a great year - PP beat him out for 2nd team.
"Grant Breneman was voted PL Rookie of the Year after the Raiders tied Lehigh for the conference championship. Colgate won its last five games and finished 7-4 as the only Patriot League team sporting an overall winning record.
Breneman just wrapped up one of the best campaigns by a first-year quarterback in Colgate Football history after completing 56.7 percent of his passes for 1,594 yards and 18 touchdowns against just five interceptions. His 18 TD passes tie him for fifth-best by a Raiders quarterback in one season and are the most since current Colgate assistant coach Greg Sullivan threw for 18 in 2009. Breneman was named Monday one of 20 finalists for the STATS FCS Jerry Rice Award presented to the national rookie of the year."

"Bucknell senior defensive lineman Abdullah Anderson was voted Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year after finishing with 42 tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss (TFL), while helping the Bison to the League’s best total defense (294.6 yards allowed per game). Anderson is a four-time All-Patriot League selection."
This is the most pathetic Defensive Player of The Year in a long time. Abdullah Anderson finished seventh in tackles and didn't even lead his team in TFLs or sacks. My production as a freshmen at Holy Cross would have put me in contention for 2017 Defensive Player of The Year. haha. Pathetic
Congrats to Nick McBeath and the other selections, however, post season awards don't nullify the lack of execution/effort by this team as a whole.

Anderson had a relatively low amount of tackles because he was double-teamed on virtually every play the entire season. No single blocker could begin to contain him. The coaches who voted for him were well aware that half of their pre-game planning consisted of figuring out how to keep Anderson from blowing up their offense. Btw, this was his fourth straight season as All-PL. Not sure if any other DL in PL history did that. And he did it with very little help from his DL, as the two starters next to him both missed most of the season due to injury.

He's no Sean Conover... I think he was a consistently good player over 4 years which is what landed him the award.

Congratulations to the kid for his hard work and achievements, but I think your views of his abilities are strongly exaggerated.

JMO - Kutschke should have been 1st team dl. He was better than Abdullah Anderson. Mcbeath should have been defense POY. Brady should have been at the very least 2nd team lb. The rest of the list looks fairly accurate.

The fact that Brady did not make 1st or 2nd team is criminal. He had a great year.

Just be thankful that Brady is a junior and should be back next year.
He only had 4 less tackles than McB, 1 less sack and 3 less tackles for loss. Great numbers.
