From Broncos.com:
With Bralon Addison placed on waivers and first-teamers not expected to play much, the kickoff and punt-return work is likely to fall on Kalif Raymond, who has handled both duties for much of the preseason.
Raymond is also expected to be busy on offense, with Addison and Durron Neal no longer with the team. Thus, the bulk of the receiving repetitions should belong to to Raymond, rookie Mose Frazier and former practice-squad receiver Jordan Taylor, who hopes for one big night to make his case for a roster spot.

So you're sayin' there's a chance . . .
From the Denver NBC affiliate:
Receivers (6): Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Jordan Norwood, Bennie Fowler, Cody Latimer, Jordan Taylor. Fowler and Latimer may be iffy for the opener so Taylor makes it, although to make sure, “Sunshine” could use a solid game against Arizona. There’s an outside chance Kalif Raymond sneaks on if he breaks a kickoff return against Arizona.

When Broncos playing next? At AZ tomorrow nite. Good DB's on AZ. The ones playing in the fourth pre-season game might not be quite as good as the regulars. Don't think we'll see much Patrick Peterson tomorrow night but the guys out there will be playing hard with final cuts looming.

Updated roster projection from the Denver Post:
Wide receivers (6): Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Bennie Fowler, Cody Latimer, Jordan Norwood, Jordan Taylor
Norwood is a near lock, but still needs to hold off college free agent Kalif Raymond for the returner job. Raymond is likely a practice squad candidate. Jordan Taylor has a big frame and ability to win 50-50 balls, but can you keep him active on game days to use it? If the Broncos go five receivers, Taylor would likely be the one to go.

From BSN Denver:
Final WR battle: The Broncos will be thin here Thursday with Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders not expected to play and Bennie Fowler and, likely, Cody Latimer out with injuries. With WR/punt returner Jordan Norwood essentially a lock to make the final 53, that leaves only one WR spot open if the Broncos do decide to keep six. So, Jordan Taylor and rookies Kalif Raymond and Mose Frazier, you’re up. Raymond could gain an edge if he can contribute as a kickoff returner – an unsettled position of definite need for Denver a week before the games that count.

In the SI preview, Denver was picked for last in their conference. Is this unprecedented ? A defending super bowl champ chosen for last ?

So far in tonight's game Kalif has had. 25 yard kickoff return, a 4 yard punt return, and a 5 yard reception in the first half.
Second half has begun: Looks like Kalif had another kickoff return of about 25 yards.

Kalif had four kickoff returns for an average of 26 yards with a long return of 41 yards. He also had one carry for 6 yards. Looks like he had a second punt return for no yardage. He had the 1 reception in the first half

From Broncos.com:
After the Cardinals scored a touchdown to go up 38-17 with 5:36 to go in the fourth quarter, the Broncos were in need of a big play. Rookie Kalif Raymond provided that spark in the form of a 41-yard kick return. Raymond shot through a tight opening near the goal line, made a few players miss and took off toward the left sideline. He nearly took the kick the distance, but Cardinals cornerback Ronald Zamort made his way to Raymond at the sideline and forced him out of bounds. The Broncos wound up with some of their best starting field position of the night after the return.

Sounds promising. If the Broncos are looking for an excuse to keep him, sounds like they got one. Go, Kalif, go!
Thanks for the updates, 92.

Jordan Taylor had a very good game last night. Best chance for Kalif would be if they think Taylor is a guy who can be a fifth WR and Norwood gets cut, thus leaving the return job to Kalif. My guess is that they will keep Taylor and Norwood and try to re-sign Kalif to the practice squad after they release him.

I agree, he is likely a practice squad player, and note that the Denver Post article was written before the game.

Wonder if they released him quickly to start the clock on the 24-hour waiver period and get him locked up for the practice squad by tomorrow while others are figuring out what to do with their own cuts.

Also nothing on the NFL.com transactions website. Buffalo is the only team with cuts publicly posted.

All of the Broncos writers seem to be predicting Kalf will make the practice squad. Here's one example from the Mile High Report:
WR/KR Kalif Raymond: I felt Bralon Addison was winning this battle early on, but once he was cut in the first wave it became clear that Raymond had overtaken him. He is small, but very fast. The Broncos may want to see if they can work with him to make him better for another shot at the final 53-man roster next year.

SoV was right.
"Kalif Raymond: Waived by Denver by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com Raymond was waived by the Broncos on Friday, Mike Kils of 9news reports.
The undrafted-rookie was looking to secure one of the Broncos final receiver spots but he appears to have been the seventh or eighth option for the team. He'll be a candidate for the practice squad if he clears waivers."

The important part will be when he (hopefully) gets added to the practice squad in the next day or two.
