SoV was right. "Kalif Raymond: Waived by Denver by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com Raymond was waived by the Broncos on Friday, Mike Kils of 9news reports. The undrafted-rookie was looking to secure one of the Broncos final receiver spots but he appears to have been the seventh or eighth option for the team. He'll be a candidate for the practice squad if he clears waivers." Given all of the reports of this on Friday on Twitter and elsewhere, I don't think there was ever any doubt that he had been waived. The important part will be when he (hopefully) gets added to the practice squad in the next day or two. Unless he gets picked up by another team

That practice team spot could be a huge learning opportunity and could mean a step up next year.

If he's on the taxi squad for the full season, he might make the NFL minimum taxi salary of about $120,000. During the season, any other team can poach him without having to compensate Denver.

Sarasota, to answer your question: practice squad players do not travel. A possible exception could be to the Super Bowl.

Lots of buzz on Twitter about Kalif possibly getting promoted this week after Jordan Norwood muffed two punts in the Broncos' most recent game.

I see Kalif Raymond standing by [Kubiak] on the sideline. Kid is trying to learn all he can. He's the #Broncos future on returns and in the slot

Hearing lots of rumbling about Kalif Raymond getting promoted to the active roster for the #Broncos. I'm all for it. Kid has earned his shot

Two things could happen this week. WR Kalif Raymond and DT/NT Kyle Peko could be promoted.
Brad James @bradfatherspeak Kalif Raymond needs to be promoted, if for nothing else, #19 is special in Broncos lore. Eddie Royal's the one Bear who's still battling
