I am 18 and I went to the football game against Colgate and I plan on going to a few basketball games. I go because I like the teams, but they could step up their promotions! Shouldn't you be studying for finals, instead of worrying about the PL and making us an independent, considering you went to one HC football game ever. Too bad you didn't catch the UNH game

Too bad you didn't catch the UNH game It's people like you that complain that nobody goes to the games and your so content with them staying the same. You love to go watch them play Colgate and Georgetown and Lafayette. You don't want to see them play anybody good and get tested. Your worried they might get blown out and that would be so bad for the program. Lets face it, the league they are in now is terrible. Attendance is low for the area. Their schedule is weak and they get no television exposure. But the program is just great and the future is bright. Give me a break! On the UNH, point, I watched the game online, it was a snowstorm.

Settle down gentlemen. I know the coach delay has everyone a bit out of sorts but there’s no need to trade barbs.

In typical years, almost all football recruits are accepted early decision. (This year is probably atypical.) Early decision produces a high yield when it comes to recruited athletes.
In fact, the discussion on admissions threads has been that too many of an incoming class are accepted early decision, and the rejection rate by those accepted in regular decision is too high; i.e., the yield is low.
73 percent of those who applied early decision in the class entering fall of 2016 matriculated. 7 percent of those who applied regular decision matriculated.

Don't think going Independent is the #1 priority, it should be getting the best coaching staff, recruiting and winning. You still have the opportunity to play local teams in OOC play. Just not getting more than one local FBS game.
Have very little regrets going independent and non going FBS, but recruiting is the main concern. So far we are alright. Attendance is a lagging indicator. We stunk up many winnable games for 5 years as FBS and the last few as FCS. That is how we lost the fan base, along with being forced to play at Gillette for four years, even thou we only need two years to get the media sky box up with separate playback rooms.
Before going FBS we played you guys straight up home and home and they were good games.
Concentrate on the priorities of good coaching staff, recruiting and winning. Good luck and wish we are playing.

Good luck and wish we are playing. Great input and prospective. Looking forward to seeing you guys on the schedule sometime before 2025 -- love making the trip to Amherst. Our four-game series was definitely a good one. Every game was competitive except the third matchup of the series in 2010. All games at least 12K in attendance. Would love to see this game come back at least every 3-4 years, even as a second FBS game for us.
Good luck building the program and hope you guys are on to winning seasons and a permanent conference home very soon!
