I believe Coach Gibbons and Coach Berard will also be there.
I frequently go in person, but tonight conflicts with the IC vigil.

Jehyve came to HC because of K Driscoll.
Karl is "fine" per CBC

Carmody was as full of information as he usually is. As far as KC being "fine," watch the video when it is available. Judge for yourself. As Mom used to say, "it's not what you say, it's how you say it."
He did say that KC has "aches and pains" and that's why he will play him 8 minutes and rest him 2 and then repeat.
Gotta give it to Lutsk, he asked some of the questions we've asked here (does he read Crossports?). He asked about when PB and CG were both on the bench and Ziggy and LeSann in. His response was essentially that the former two weren't producing and wanted to see how the other guys would do.
For the UMass game, no problem with jet lag but then alluded to maybe CG was tired from the trip.
Best exchange was JF saying no phones in N. Ireland (presumably meaning their cell phones didn't work). Lutsk said "couldn't you have used the coach's phone?" Went over really big with CWC as you might imagine and Lutsk did a quick back pedal.

is there a link to watch the show for those of us who missed it ? here’s the link... watchstadium.com/live/crusaders-coaches-show-december-7th/for those interested in the truth on karl charles’ health, carmody’s commentary begins at 50:35. a little disingenuous to only report that “he is fine” without the surrounding context and commentary from carmody.

dado, I suspect you missed the sarcasm when ncaam put that phrase in quotes.
Many have made this comparison before but CWC public comments are often akin to the Pat's coach, BB. He is obviously in psychic pain to have to do these things and if you look at him, you just know that his inner thoughts are "this is taking a lot of my time from purgatory."

If Charles is hurt to the point that he can't be effective why is he not being held out to make sure he's ready for PL play which in reality are the only games that count.

No sarcasm here. Took CBC at his word. KC is just fine. CBC did not allow him any excuses.

My take, he's well enough to play. Maybe the injuries have hurt his conditioning, coach said he needs to play 8 minutes then rest 2, or the pain progresses as he plays ... Who knows, hope he gets to 100% soon

Lou, would you agree that the phrase "he is fine" should not be taken literally. Totally agree with your assessment he is good enough to play but that's a far cry from saying he is "fine" which at least to me implies he's 100%. That just doesn't pass the smell test, or in this case, the sight test. The guy is hurting. Residual from the hamstring? I don't know but something is not physically right with him.
My concern is that whatever is nagging him doesn't get a chance to get better but that's why they have trainers and team doctors.

CBC said after the LaSalle game that the hammy injury was followed by a knee issue. I think that “fine” does not = 100%

No sarcasm here. Took CBC at his word. KC is just fine. CBC did not allow him any excuses. carmody is not in the business of making excuses. he's a professional. not a message board hack with an ax to grind. the question on crossports has been whether kc is at 100%. the interview with carmody made it clear that he is not. i challenge any objective poster to listen to carmody's commentary, let alone observation of kc's play, and conclude that he is 100%. kc is/has been clearly healthy enough to play and i will defer to the professional judgment of the training staff in that respect. naturally, i hope he is truly being given enough time to heal up and get back to 100% before the pl season that matters most.

Karl Charles:
2015-16: 10.6 PPG / 4.2 RPG / 42.3 FG% / 28.4 3FG% 2016-17: 9.4 PPG / 3.3 RPG / 42.6 FG% / 37.5 3FG% 2017-18: 11.1 PPG / 2.0 RPG / 41.5 FG% / 36.0 3FG%
Looks pretty even to me.

We are speaking about Charles, not his numbers. If you look at the actual person on the court, differences in his play this year become obvious. That he has been able to maintain his scoring and FG% is only a testimony to his desire, not his health. The drop in rebounds is one large indicator that it is not "even" with previous seasons.

Rebounds do not seem very even. you have watched. Does he look 100% ? He's down 1.3 RPG from last year. Is that really significant? And yes, I've watched most of the games. He looks like the same streaky player that he was for his first two years. It's not as if he was ever a guy who took over games on a consistent basis before and is now suddenly not doing that.

Coach said he was fine. He has started him in every game and played him significant minutes. If the posters who say he is injured were nht, I might give them credit. There not, so I won’t . And talk about axes to grind. Sheesh!
