Didn’t many on the Board suggest PP was not a top notch QB?

Didn’t many on the Board suggest PP was not a top notch QB? There was wide consensus on the board that he was the second best QB this year in the Patriot League. Behind Lehigh’s QB. Colgate’s frosh QB (PL Rookie of the Year) and Fordham’s Anderson were also good this year but not as good as Pujals IMHO.

Pujals was a very good talent...under/mis utilized by our last coaching staff.

Direct quote to myself and another poster from TG off air at the first coaches show: "Pete is gonna get drafted. He is".

Each team had only 3 QBs last year so I suspect PP will definitely play. Definitely a great chance for him to be seen by coaches and scouts throughout the week leading up to the game as well as in the game itself.

Baker Mayfield has committed to play in the Senior Bowl the following week. Understandable that he wouldn’t want to be in the same game as Pujals and look bad by comparison.

Nice mix of QBs in the game. Chance for all of them to show their stuff and try to get into the draft/training camp. O'Korn, for one, has had a VERY up and down career. Ditto Allen (Arkansas).
QB John O'Korn Michigan Kenny Hill TCU Luis Perez Texas A&M Commerce
QB Austin Allen Arkansas Logan Woolside Toledo Peter Pujals Holy Cross

0-2, one was dropped, on next position.....looked comfortable out there...out now
Been a terrible game offensively on both sides...7-0 National (PPs team) after 3

Much easier to play D in a game like this

It is...there was actually a little controversy in the game as Mike Martz (National HC) accused the American team of "cheating" by stunting and maybe blitzing which are against the rules in these types of games.
I think PP went 1 for 3 for about 8 yards, no rushes...never really given much of a chance imo.

Didn’t many on the Board suggest PP was not a top notch QB? No. A very few did (starting last year). I hope that relieves your uncertainty.

I looked up the box score and it shows Peter was 2-4 for 13 yards.
