Massey makes HC an 8 point favorite (64-56) with a better than 70% chance for the win. This is a game HC really needs. e can't keep giving up home court losses (men or women).

HC making a lot of bad fouls right now, and pressing on offensive, need to slow it down a bit

At the half UVM 25-23. HC offense is out of sync. Thomas leads w/ 7, Manis 6rebs.

Both of these teams STINK. Imagine if they were playing UConn.

Just amazing how far this program has fallen - UVM is the worst team we have played so far this season and at the half, this game is up for grabs. Win or lose, (yet again) there doesn't seem to be enough talent on this team to compete for a league title.

It won't take long to turn this around...whether or not Gibbons is the person to do it is another matter entirely. Patriot League and that sort of thing should not be the obstacle it is for the men's program.

HC 44-42 on a Faukner 3 at the end of the 3rd. Most of the 3rd basically traded baskets.

The 20 turnovers were awful - many simply appeared to be passes to Vermont players. However, the team did not get rattled and looked very strong (and in control) in the 4th quarter. In much of the first half, it was a missed three followed by a Vt rebound. Vermont shot well in the first half with Derda hitting 5 of 7 three pointers (far above her season average) and getting a high game of 17points. She was better controlled by HC in the second half. In that second half the team played much better and more consistently. It was good to see the big smiles on the player's faces at the end. Hopefully this can turn things around and HC can get on a roll.

Happy for them. Would prefer Gibbons after all these years left on his own terms.

Thanks for those great shots. That shot of point 1000 for Infiniti is beautiful. I can see in those shots the physical pounding that Lauren took from VT. In that regard it was nice to see a close up of the inadvertent elbow she planted on a defender's chin.

I thought it was ridcoulous to review that...she clearly was just going up for a shot and was fouled by that defender. The Vermont coach kept yelling that Lauren and I quote “Hit her in the teeth” The amount of reviews over stuff like that is getting out of hand.

I have to agree. It clearly was unintended contact - especially since Lauren had been getting pounded on time after time...karma can be tough!
