Terriers have lost three of their last four, two of last three at home, including an eleven point loss to American a few weeks ago. Minimal home court advantage at Case - other than Colgate, worst home attendance in the conference. BU not 100% healthy.
Winnable game.

Sorry for the very late posting, but recently, for some reason, my enthusiasm has waned.
Massey has BU as an 8 point favorite (61-69) with a 77% chance for the win. FWIW, BU is 4-2 at home in the PL.

BOSTON – Looking to claim its first sweep of the Patriot League schedule and another point in the Turnpike Trophy all-sports competition, the Boston University men's basketball team will host Holy Cross on Saturday with tip-off slated for 1 p.m.
TERRIER TIDBITS The Terriers are currently in third in the Patriot League, one game behind No. 2 Colgate and one ahead of No. 4 Navy, with five contests remaining in the regular season. BU is 5-5 at home this season but has gone 4-2 against Patriot League competition, including a 64-55 victory over Loyola Maryland in the last contest at The Roof. The Terriers have been without senior and leading scorer Cedric Hankerson (13.7 ppg) for the last five games due to injury and were also without starting freshman Walter Whyte (8.7 ppg 5.7 rpg) due to injury on Wednesday at Colgate. Sophomores Tyler Scanlon and Max Mahoney are averaging a combined 26.7 ppg and 11.8 rpg in conference play to lead BU. Freshman Javante McCoy is shooting an impressive 45.9 percent from behind the arc against conference opponents and is the only Terrier alongside Mahoney to start every PL contest. Senior Will Goff is averaging 1.8 made 3-pointers per game in conference play and has tied Scanlon with 14 steals. The Terriers currently lead the PL in field goal shooting percentage (.469), which is the 71st best mark nationally ... They also rank 59th in steals (7.3 spg) and 46th in 3FG% (.385). SCOUTING HOLY CROSS The Crusaders are 3-10 on the road compared to their 5-6 road mark ... They've won their last two road games though, posting victories at Loyola Maryland (73-57) and American (60-57). Jehyve Floyd leads HC in scoring (11.7 ppg), rebounding (5.6 rpg) and blocks (1.9 bpg) ... Karl Charles is the second Crusader in double figures at 10.2 ppg and is also averaging a team-high 3.1 apg and 1.5 spg. Caleb Green (8.8 ppg) is playing a team-high 32.0 mpg and is dishing out 2.8 apg. HC ranks 347th nationally in scoring offense at 62.6 ppg and 95th in scoring defense (68.9 ppg) ... The Crusaders are also 118th in turnover margin (0.9). SERIES HISTORY Holy Cross leads the all-time series, 53-19, in a rivalry that dates back to 1902-03. Since joining the Patriot League, however, BU is 7-2 against the Crusaders with a 3-1 home record. In the last meeting at HC, BU led, 41-35, with 7:02 left before Nick Havener hit a layup to spark a 10-2 run capped by Walter Whyte's corner 3FG at 3:14 en route to a 54-40 win ... HC went 2-of-9 and committed three turnovers during the final seven minutes ... Tyler Scanlon was named Turnpike Trophy MVP with nine points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals. In the last meeting at Case Gym, down 45-42 with 14:48 remaining, the Terriers went on an 11-0 run over the next 3:30 to grab the lead for good ... The Crusaders pulled within three at 52 seconds, but the Terriers got a big offensive rebound following a missed layup and hit three straight free throws to help seal the 61-55 victory ... Justin Alston ('17) was named Turnpike Trophy MVP with 13 points and a career-high 15 rebounds. Following four years as a conference member, the Terriers have yet to meet HC in the Patriot League tournament ... The last time the two schools faced off in a conference tourney, BU claimed the 1983 ECAC North title against the Crusaders to reach the NCAAs for the first time since 1959.

The status of BU's key guy, Cedric Hankerson, is the key question - his absence the last few weeks has been a major reason for the team's struggles. Whyte, a strong contender for the all-rookie team, also might be ailing. Mahoney is becoming a real force inside.

I don't know the status of Hankerson's injury. The Terriers are a different team without him than the one that beat HC in Worcester. I am assuming that Whyte will be available today, but that is not certain. He did sit out against Colgate.
