Kudos to the team for putting it together with a solid victory for the CRUSADERS on Saturday at Boston University! JF is a beast when it comes to shot blocking! !
Congrats to Crosser, jflare and CHC8485 for going a perfect 5 for 5! !
Contest is tightening up with 3 tied for 1st, 2 for 2nd and 5 only 3 behind!!! You have to find the "upsets" with 4 games left before the playoffs!!!

Colgate-- Lehigh has won 4 in a row, the last 2 in OT and has shot 50%+ on threes in each of last 5 games. Tejada and Andree are both over 50% on threes in PL play and they take the bulk of the shots. Marques Wilson, freshman, missed last game. Colgate blew a big lead in the last 1/2 minute to lose at Bucknell but has won 6 of last 8 with the 2 losses on the road. Freshman Jordan Burns has won some awards--played last game after missing two games but has not played well of late. Colgate won first game at Lehigh by 4. I'll predict Colgate will bounce back with a win at home after the heart-breaking loss at Bucknell.
Holy Cross-- Let's toss the ludicrous slaughter at the hands on Navy, figuring the young team was derailed by the suspension of their teammates. HC was had the worst 3 point shooting team in PL play but posted an impressive win over BU by concentrating on twos and HC has highest 2 pt pctg by far in PL conference play. HC won the Hart game by 4 over Army. Army has lost 5 of last 6 with the only win coming versus American U. Army should be favored but I'll hope the Crusaders put up another strong effort. Pat Benzan played 23 then 26 minutes in last two games after 18-12-19-0-0-0-8 in the previous 7, and I think many would agree that he brings leadership and a steady head and clutch play to the competition. Let's see 25+ minutes for him today
Boston University--BU lost by 9 at home in first game versus American as the Terriers committed 21 turnovers and has a 4 versus 11 deficit in free throws made. BU has lost its last three games with very poor defense a key contributor but American U's very weak offense may be what BU needs to get back on track. American has lost its last 7 games.
Bucknell-- Is something wrong with the Bison? They've shot poorly in last two games, e.g. 26% on threes, but that could be a short-term anomaly. Still, Bucknell found a way to overcome Colgate's seemingly insurmountable late lead as Kimball MacKenzie put the team on his back and pulled out the win. Bucknell won at Loyola by 8. Loyola has a very weak defense and I expect Bucknell will capitalize on that for a comfortable win.
Navy-- Navy won first game at Lafayette by 3, but Laf has improved a lot since then. Laf has won 3 of last four, the last two by 27 then 17 points. But Laf has won only 1 of last 5 road games and that was at AU. Lafayette wins with defense and that correlates with opponents missing threes. Navy is hard to figure out, winning its last five road games but losing its last four home games. I think Navy's rebounding will give the team some extra shots in this game and help break the losing streak at home.

Boston U has fallen apart. Lehigh has claimed status of second best PL team--I should have been smart enough to go with them........

Bucknell nips Loyola by 41 - hard to imagine G.G coming back next year. It will be interesting to see if BU loses its last 3 plus the playoff game if Joe Jones survives. I believe that this is the final year of his contract, so it shouldn't cost BU anything if they move on.

Loyola actually took five more shots from the field than Bucknell. Bison corralled 51 rebounds.

Other than Bucknell the league seems wide open at this point. BU, Loyola and Army have fallen apart, I was interested to see how Colgate would react to blowing game to Bucknell and they lost at home albeit to a hot Lehigh team, Lafayette has been competitive in most games lately with the two freshmen Petrie and Jaworski leading the way, American has won a few games lately and Navy seems to have picked it up again. PL tournament should be very interesting.
