The webcam this morning shows them putting down something on the path from Hogan to the Jo. Does not look like asphalt... could be a base for some kind of pavers? Also, attached are a couple of pictures I took a week ago. The first is the west side of the Jo showing the additional set of stairs and the second from the south side looking towards what used to be the entrance to the field house. Thanks much for the photos. The brick has more definition than what was drawn in the renderings.
I'm pretty sure the mix being dumped on the path between Hogan and The Jo is asphalt, and is the same as the paving for the path on the north side of the Hoval.

Didn't think it was asphalt (hot) because there was no steam coming from it as it is being laid down and the only "compacting" being done is by the only person walking back and forth from side to side. Could it be "cold patch" asphalt? Just now notice that a roller is compacting the path! Also, they have marked up the entire roadway and round about from Hogan down to College Hill. Looks like they will be paving that today.

Also note the Cross on the north face,

HCFC45, Thanks for the photos.
Looking forward to the College publishing a video of the interior when completed.

I think the markings in the roadway are for striping.

note the trees/shrubs bordering the Hogan/Jo walkway... getting closer to 400?

There was, as I recall, one way entry from the top and then exit down the slope in front of the fieldhouse (between the fieldhouse and Wheeler) to the gate in the picture. It now appears that traffic will go both ways for the entry gate above the fieldhouse/Jo on College Street. My question -- regarding the gate shown in the top picture -- is that an entry point leading to anywhere? or is it an exit point (and if so, from where)? Thanks.

I think the markings in the roadway are for striping. By striping, I assume you are referring to striping a roadway, parking lot.... Definitely not for that kind of striping.... They are for delineating the margins for the machine to put down the asphalt. Notice the 3 "lanes" depicted to the right of the roundabout... I recently had a driveway redone and extended... they did the same thing, marking out where the sections of asphalt would be put down...

Thanks. the gate in the first photo leads to Wheeler, and to parking next to O'Neil. Given the number of trucks with asphalt lined up on Upper Campus, I think they will be paving next in the area of Hogan and Ciampi.

I thought the same thing after I saw the picture I had taken but did not notice where the road goes to or comes from. It will definitely be paved because the drains have been raised and painted orange. Next time I am in the vicinity I'll try to get an answer. My guess is that it is a roadway going behind Wheeler...

This morning, they are marking lines for parking spaces where the road drops down to the loading docks for Hogan and an at-grade connection to the path between the Hoval and The Jo, and it appears they are paving the road from College St. into Wheeler.

Speaking of drones, I have to say that the College has made excellent usage of drones for fantastic pictures of the campus in many videos. They are likely outsourcing this as the shots are very professional looking. Being an amateur drone pilot [already lost 3 over the last few years due to ineptitude and/or unexpected weather conditions and fairly cheap equipment], I have seen some of the more professional (read: "very expensive") drones that others have and spoke to one guy who flies the National Grid power lines for them as an independent contractor to do the necessary inspections. He said that the power company is using them more and more as they are much cheaper than their prior use of helicopters and can get closer to the lines and if a mishap occurs and the drone crashes, as expensive as they are, they are a lot cheaper than losing a manned helicopter.

What link are you using to see this? Phreek knows much about getting to orbit, and what you can do once you get there. But from a look at the webcam, the stripers (no double p) giveth and taketh. The area was striped, but it is striped as no parking.

A few more photos taken this past Sunday... Main entrance to the upper campus was blocked off after the paving done on Friday. Had to use City View to gain access. Extensive work being done on the back of the PPAC showing numerous metal pieces protruding, I assume from the inside. Can be seen on the right side of the back. Must have something to do with attaching the outer materials to the building. Attachment Deleted Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Thanx much for the photo updates. My guess now is that the parking lots between Hogan and the Hart will not be done until summer of 2021. the Upper Campus Drive is still blocked today. I believe this shows the southeast corner. The rust colored panels are pre-weathered steel, fabricated in Germany.

From a photo in HC magazine, showing the courts. One court has a dropdown backboard and basket, the other court does not. Perhaps the other court will have backboard/basket that is movable. The architect's description suggests that one or both courts may be used for basketball and other sports.
From the webcam, the indoor running track that circles above the courts appears to run next to the window wall on the north side of the The Jo, and the exercise machines / weights will be inside of the track, nearer the center of the building.
