all very true. but just got to love that amazing chutzpah. biggest sports upset other than Ali v Liston (1). again, a personal sentimental favorite. funny, i just threw in my comment on joe namath as my "sentimental favorite" and Ali v Liston as an aside. seemed to have touched a raw nerve there. no response at all on who is "best money player in professional sports"If we could include recent retirees I'd suggest Mariano Rivera. I don't believe any athlete in any sport can compete with his post season performance: 8-1 record with a 0.70 ERA (not a typo). He faced 527 batters and gave up 86 base hits including but 2 home runs. Allowing for the 21 walks and 3 hit batters it looks like his opponents, all from the best teams in baseball, batted about .190 against him.
