Let the best man start. Loads of WR & TE talent which must be utilized. QB competition will be humming. Yes. I could see freshman Barron competing for playing time at WR, as well as Lane at TE, Schon and McCauley at G, Spence at CB, Rivers at SS and Duchemin at Kick Return. Lots of healthy competition makes for a deep roster.

Shipman as well at WR 17 offers
I know HC is loaded at LB but both these kids are big and productive.
Vaganek could even see time. They need more sacks.

Preliminary 2020 roster is now available on the HC Football web page. It does not include Jacq Allard, whose LOI was apparently received late yesterday. Once Allard is added, the roster will have a total of 95 players. No 5th-year seniors on the roster. Roster attrition to date is limited to one underclassman. I anticipate (though I have no information as a basis) that the roster may undergo additional changes (perhaps both additions and deletions) as the year progresses.
Happy to respond to questions submitted by private messages, provided confidentiality is assured.

Fordham easily had the smallest recruiting class with 14 in total - probably because of an imbalance on last year's roster which only had 8 seniors

No other known offers. There was some discussion that he was focused on lax and therefore not really recruited for football until late in the recruiting season.

/\ That may have applied while he was playing top-level lacrosse at Kellenberg, but then he spent a PG year playing football at the Peddie School (other Peddie football team members were pretty heavily recruited).

Since he is attending Peddie could he drop out, apply and enroll by the end of this week so he is eligible for spring practices?

I know little about this QB prospect. I can say that Peddie is actively scouted and recruited for football particularly by the PL and the Ivies. It is unusual not to have any offers assuming the requisite ability.

I thought it might be interesting to compare where our recent recruits were coming from to where we got players a few years ago/ So I compared the 2015 team to the players who will be freshmen (just signed) or sophomores in Fall 2020. Here's what I found out
2015 Roster
14.0%- Massachusetts provided 13 of 93 players 10.8%- Florida 10.8% - Illinois 8.6%- California 8.6%- New Jersey 7.5%- Georgia 7.5%- Missouri 7.5%- Pennsylvania 6.5%- New York 4.3%- Texas
Freshmen & Sophomores on 2020 Roster
22.0%- New Jersey (weren't several posters over the past few years telling us how good NJ football was?) 12.0%- Massachusetts 10.0%- New York 8.0% Florida 6.0%- Michigan 6.0%- Virginia 6.0%- Illinois
States moving Up in Influence
New Jersey went from 8.6% to 22.0% Michigan went from 0.0% to 6.0% New York went from 6.5% to 10.0%
States staying about the same (bear in mind small samples sizes)
Massachusetts went from 14.0% to 12.0% Florida went from 10.8% to 8.0% Texas went from 4.3% to 4.0%
States with declining influence
Illinois went from 10.8 to 6.0% California went from 8.6% to 4.0% Georgia went from 7.5% to 0.0% Missouri went from 7.5% to 2.0% Pennsylvania went from 7.5% to 0.0%
One more state of interest
Ohio went from 0.0% to 4.0%
I'm sure a real statistician would say that, in most cases, the sample sizes are too small to draw hard inferences. There's no doubt, however, about the massive increase from the state of New Jersey.
Of course, a real study would take into account how much playing time the players got...

It is unusual not to have any offers assuming the requisite ability. Two choices. 1. He doesn’t tweet his offers. 2. Other schools didn’t see him as a QB down the road and he wants to play QB.

I know someone who evaluated him. This person thinks he’s a steal, an ass kicker, and a winner. Time will tell

Although it might be premature to close the books on Holy Cross 2020 football recruiting, it seems quite evident that no more offers will be extended to high school seniors, although an offer to a transfer is still a possibility (if somewhat remote).
Based on twitter posts by the players, Holy Cross made 164 offers. It's entirely possible that there were other offers that were not announced on Twitter. As of today, 160 of these players have made commitments (27 to Holy Cross, 133 to other schools); only 4 have not announced a commitment.

If you look at the herosports site with the positional rankings, once again you will see the ivies dominating the PL and even the CAA. They continue to take their football very seriously !
