Bucknell Bryant Lehigh (I refuse to accept GTown as a legitimate football team) This years Lehigh team might be their worst of the 21st Century. I wonder what their record is against the Hoyas since they joined the league.

Bucknell Bryant Lehigh (I refuse to accept GTown as a legitimate football team) This years Lehigh team might be their worst of the 21st Century. I wonder what their record is against the Hoyas since they joined the league. Ask and you shall receive: Lehigh has won all the PL meetings....GTown won some prior to 1925

Fordham - going with the Rams at home, Bryant maybe worst 4-win team in FCS Bucknell - I like the Bison defense this Saturday. No light at end of tunnel for Leopards (until the Lehigh game) Georgetown - winless against Hawks in PL era, should be bulletin board material.

As this may be the most uninspiring PL slate evah...before I forget to do this:
Bucknell...home though it could easily go the other way Fordham...looked good last week, home and as NyCru noted, Bryant is deceptively 4-3 Lehigh...I should go with our Jesuit cousins but until the Engineers actually lose to the Hoyas, I'll go Brown

FWIW, the Nov. 17 game in Washington is sold out at 1,800 seats. Georgetown razed its home side last season. 1800 seats? Your stadium still looks like a venue for a broke down youth football team. I grew up in Northern Virginia and played at better stadiums and in front of bigger crowds when I was 8. Honestly, I don't think any PL school would feel bad if Gtown became a club sport and teams never had to travel to your joke of a venue. 6sader7 you remember the concrete on the sidelines of their astroturf? HOYA -
AIR, you have been/are a gentleman visitor here for some time. Thus, please ignore unnecessary crap like this.

Bucknell-- Bison won at Lafayette 13-7 last year and I like the home field advantage today.
Fordham-- This is a tough one. Fordham may have improved a bit from its dismal start and is moving the ball on the ground better--may be more a matter of opponents than adjustments. Fordham and Bryan have had 2 common opponents, Stony Brook and Central Conn. Bryant lost both games with a composite score of 35-98 while Fordham lost both by 19-52.
Georgetown-- Who would have thought we'd ever predict Gtown to beat Lehigh? Lehigh has been woeful this year, particularly on defense. Fordham scored 47 points in its first 5 games then put up 43 at Lehigh. Lehigh's Dominick Bragalone gained 3,600 yards (5.6 yards/carry) and scored 39 rushing TD's in his first three seasons but has only 344 yards (3.4/carry) and 3 TD's season to date. On the other hand, Lehigh's opponents are gaining 5.9 yards per rushing attempt and 9.3 yards per pass play. Georgetown is not Alabama by any means, but the team has to be motivated to post a very rare win over Lehigh.

Rich H on his LFN blog is reporting that Vegas books have GU as 14 point favorite over the Mountain Hawks - the PL football world is upside-down this season I thought Lehigh was pretty bad last year (5-7, opened the season with 5-straight OOC losses, lost to Fordham, and finished the season with two close victories over a very weak HC and a very weak Lafayette enroute to a horrific blowout v SBU in the playoff opening round ). They lost a couple of pretty good receivers, Bragalone can't do it alone even against weak teams, and their defense is as bad as last year so I'm not surprised they are absolutely awful. That being said, it still is a shock to see Georgetown favored over Lehigh. A case of one PL team improving off a weak year and one PL team getting weaker off a pretty bad year.

Less than 8 minutes into the first qtr it’s 21-3 Bryant. Things keep getting worse for this league

A quick scan of the picks and it looks like Chu Chu (give another hoya and chu chu rah rah ) is the only one to go 3 out of 3 on the good side! While it was a rough week for hc87 going 3 out of 3 on the wrong side! !
