I'm worried our women's team is going to have a tough time finding a W this season. UNH came to Worcester with a 1-9-1 record on Saturday and dominated us (58-20 in shots) and won 4-1. This jump to HE without a 2nd recruiting class might be shaping up as mission impossible. I think the coach should have scheduled some D.2-3 schools just to get a little confidence and a win or two.
We play at Harvard tonight (our only D.1 win from last season)

The game is being broadcast on NESN. It’s already a bloodbath 5-0 Harvard early in 2nd.

Honestly, I thought we’d be getting blown out by a lot more than we have in our first year in HE.

Women have been performing admirably. At some point, we had to just go ahead and make the leap in competition. There really is no "low Division I" in Womens Hockey. As far as the competitive landscape goes in this sport, its basically either play glorified intramurals or commit to going head to head with many of the top womens players in North America.
