I did not have the "pleasure" of watching this game due to change on Stadium access to a paid subscription livestream. It appears to be another underwhelming performance. Apparently, the team has not improved as the season has progressed. Is it merely a rough patch, growing pains for a young team? Is it something more profound? Talent or coaching? LoveHC PS I wonder if the viewership has declined precipitously due to the change to Pay subscription for Stadium live-streaming. It seems that the number of posts for this game has declined significantly. I didn’t pay anything

Six players played 216 minutes. In the nine minutes Zignorski played, he contributed one turnover and one steal. That's nearly impossible. But not the worst stat line on the team

I went to the Patriot League Network website directly and had no problem watching the game

This loss is on the coaching staff. Poor defense at the end and poor offense the last time we had the ball after a timeout.

I could get it on my samsung smartphone, free.
But even after I thought I had subscribed, couldn't access from apple tv or PC. Of course non-"premium" Lehigh-Bucknell game came in great. Garbage, fix it Stadium

I would not expect any bump in viewership and in overall interest for the rest of this season and for the football season as well.Another, stupid, misinformed decision by the PL and HC to sign this contract with Stadium. Bush League! There are still many ways to watch Stadium for free.

Actually IMO it is not that surprising.
In the OOC games the opposition does not have as extensive a scouting report on us and doesn't know our tendencies. Thus we can go back door a lot and surprise teams that we are not physically overmatched by.
In the PL they know us well and take away many of the things we count on to score. Thus on any given night we can lose to any team in the League.
Looks like we are heading for a very disappointing season and the prospects of a better year next year are certainly questionable with the graduation of JF.

PB and JF as strong in that area as any. What we really need is a team with more than 6 players capable of performing at a Division I level. Apocalyptic lack of depth ruining Floyd’s senior season.

I just clicked on the patriot league network section on goholycross.com preview of the game Got it. I clicked link from the schedule. Maybe that was the issue. Tried both phone and IPAD - neither allowed free viewing via link on MBB schedule page.

Are they the official captains? I also agree they are going out swinging. We need a true leader at the helm. Carmody being outcoached yet again. Carmody Must Go!

Honestly we have played with fire all year long, but won early which was a great sign and a step forward in teaching this group how to win.
In conference play, however, teams know what to do and how to attack their opponent to be successful. In fact some really weak teams like Loyola, can make you look bad. They did that on Wednesday to BU and again today.
Our conference opponents know what we run, how to attack and prepare to take things away from us. Today we were 67% from 3 and 5-15 from inside the arc in the first half with one backdoor basket. As a result, turnovers from poor passing and decision making are increasing.
The kids seem to be searching for options right now and hold the ball too long, dribble just to do something, or shoot for the sake of shooting. I get it if the freshmen, or those on the bench, don’t understand the offense or defense and there is a reluctance to play them, but if the coaches don’t make adjustments, I think they can play, make the same mistakes, and get some experience.
Getting the ball to Floyd, while critical, I believe it leaves most of the players(especially Grandison) standing around watching or waiting for the ball to come back to the perimeter. Not hard for other teams to slow or shut us down on possessions. As this group continues to grow, someone will step up and take charge and understand how to get Floyd the ball moving toward or around the basket and not force him to create on his own.
Offensively and defensively if you have the right talent , execute and make adjustments you have a variety of options. In our case, Floyd’s talent, presence and reputation on defense are one thing, but having him float on the foul line extended or above and reach makes no sense.
This is part of growing and learning, but I hope we get back to playing with confidence , execute and winning the games we should win, and stealing another game or two.

Our end of game possessions are pathetic. Today we run the 30 second clock down to 4 and frantically call timeout with our player in a trap 30 feet from the basket. After the timeout with only 4 seconds left we inbound the ball going back to mid court and end up forcing an off balance leaner that doesn't draw iron. The same type of thing happened at the end of the Lehigh game and again we ended up with a forced contested 3 point attempt. Then on defense how do we allow a drive from the top of the key for an uncontested layup with no one stepping in front of the driver. Loyola had a great game plan to prevent Floyd's passing to cutters, don't think we got one layup off that action today. Seeing Kostecka in person reveals what a really good player he is, he has great anticipation getting into passing lanes, moves really well without the ball to get open looks and is much more athletic than he looks. This obviously is a very bad loss and puts us in a deep hole with two home losses already.

This game was similar to the game in Baltimore, we were just way more careless with the ball today and I thought we were not moving as well without the ball

Biggest play in regulation was Kostecka calling a timeout with about 10 seconds to go when they were holding for the last shot. the Loyola coach appeared upset by his taking charge, and I am not sure they would have gotten a clean look had he not taken the timeout

So frustrating. It has been awful since the Navy game. Carmody has got to go. Done nothing with this team. Screaming at everybody when they make a mistake. What a shame. You just can't loose that game to that team at Home. ALL HC NEEDED TO DO WAS COVER ONE GUY AND YOU LET HIM GET A WIDE OPEN LAYUP AT THE END! That said the refs as usual sucked. But where is the great out of timeout play calling at the end. Only ones that goes for offensive rebounds are Butler and Benzan. To many turnovers and just some awful offense. How does the ball not go to Floyd in regulation and in overtime late. With all of that said. This is going to be tough to recover. But it starts with getting a road win at Army. Lets use this awful game and slow PL start as a springboard to a strong finish.
But I'm in the fire Carmody camp. Sorry Bill, it was real and it was nice, but don't let anybody tell you it was real nice.

I was very enthusiastic about the Carmody hire. Although, there was an early season tease, his team this year appears to have reached the same level of incompetence as his teams from previous seasons. I don't see any great awakening. I'm a bottom line, results focused wins and losses type of sports fan. You are what your record says you are.(Bill Parcells) No excuses. The buck stops with the head coach, Carmody. LoveHC Not according to his post game radio interview.

Whatever fans were there including me are struggling to find reasons to go back. 11-8? 2-4 in the PL? 1-3 in last four? Two home loses in a row, both in overtime and both times they let one player beat them! FLOYD 6-6 Why can't we get it to him down low more.
