Home teams have won 27 of 40 games (67.5%) to date--only hc6774 and the likely unassailable Worcester Gray have equaled or exceeded that percentage. Still, the season is young....

Full disclosure on the Bucknell game. Jimmy Sotos dislocated his shoulder vs American Saturday and presumably will not play vs Navy. May not play for the rest of the season, although there has been no news as yet. If he is out for an extended period, Bucknell is unlikely to contend for the regular season title.

Thanks bison137 for posting this. Don't know whether it will influence any posters in their picks but it certainly is not good for Bucknell in the long run...

Bucknell-- Navy shoots poorly (#10 in PL play) and turns it over a lot (#10) so the team needs a lot more rebounds than the opponent to get the extra shots needed to score. Bucknell is in the middle of the pack in the rebounding department. Bison will be diminished by the loss of Sotos, no doubt, but the team has won the last 10 games in this series and will enjoy the home court advantage,
Holy Cross--- with all of Holy Cross's struggles of late, BU has not exactly been thriving either with 4 losses in a row by a composite 49 points and BU's home court advantage is stated as #341 in D-1. Freshman Jonas Harper is 15-20 (.750, not a typo) on his threes in PL play and has the conference's highest O-Rating (155.7) but does not start so I have to guess he's a defensive liability. BU uses a lot of players--38% of minutes from the bench = #36 in D-1. BU's defense has been horrendous of late and HC's 3 point shooters (44.1% in PL play) may get more open looks. A win tonight would be a real boost for HC, a boost the team needs. Last year HC held Max Mahoney to 6-16 (.375) on twos in 2 games while he shot .651 in the rest of his PL games.
Colgate-- I've gone back and forth on this one because I think Army is an improving team (the opposite of last season) and Colgate's equal. Still, Colgate is 4-0 at home (+48 points composite) and 0-4 on the road (-26 points) in PL play. In the first game this year Army won at Christl by 10, via the foul line, of course. In its last 4 games, all wins, Army is 58-78 from the line while its opponents are 21-32. I think it's more a matter of Army committing very few fouls than it is of Army drawing a lot of fouls. A 9 point advantage on free throws is hard to overcome, so can Colgate keep Army off the line? Army last won at Colgate in 2014.
Lehigh-- This is a big rivalry that will have both teams amped, but I think Lehigh is just much better than Laf. Still, in this year's game at Lehigh Lafayette shot very well from three (14-29, but Lehigh shot 11-14) and Lehigh won by only three points. Lehigh continues to win the games it should and is now 13-0 versus teams ranked #168 or worse on KenPom. Laf is #293.
American-- These two have spilt the season series each of the past 5 years. Loyola lost its first three PL games by 7, 17, and 15 points and is 4-1 in the last 5 with 3 OT wins, a 2 point win, and a 3 point loss. So I guess you could say that Loyola is 3 opponent foul shots, a 3 pointer, and 2 layups away from being 0-8 in the PL. Of course, a win is a win. American beat Boston U on the road and Bucknell at home in its last 2 games so I am going to consider that sufficient momentum to take the Eagles to the win today.
I could see myself going anywhere from 1-4 to 4-1 with these games today.
