A fine outing by Cronin and exactly what we needed for a game 2 bounce back. Not sure if he’ll start the rest of the way or long relief like a few games ago. He’s certainly got the pitches to dominate PL batting. (Reviewing the box score it looks like he struck out 6 consecutive batters in the 2nd and 3rd innings).

After being only a pinch runner and fielder yesterday, Malgeri returned to the lineup today. Mired in a season long slump,Volpi had 1 hit and RBI in yesterday’s second game and 2 hits with an RBI today.

Livingston just continues to get on base almost every time he is up. Dvorak also pitched very well. That was a good series win after loosing game one. Weather was also decent for all three. Was fun to get on one of the Lehigh players Maguire. He could not hit at all and mostly struck out. My friends and I assumed many of them were Pirate fans and we even asked some of them yesterday because of where they were from, so today I wore my Roberto Clemente Pirates jersey. Overall Lehigh is not a bad team and they have some power especially Gallo. Lastly HC needs to work on the baseball gameday experience. No bathrooms open, no concessions, no giveaways (it will never happen, but I wish Bobbleheads). Such a nice stadium, use it.
