Malachi just picked up an offer from Wake Forest I’ll bet RJ doesn’t “like” that.

Thanks, WG As of now the first priority would seem to be at point. Then, esp if Niego leaves in June, next would seem to be a big, preferably a 4. With hopefully, 6 returning wings, that would seem to be a lesser priority, unless, of course, we can get a difference maker.

Owusu-Anane would fill the bill at the four. Will try to find some game film.
Note, too, that our last offeree, Sean Durogordon, has transferred from Canterbury (Class B) to Putnam Science.

Fairfield board reports that Jack Malloy of Northfield Mount Hermon School, has committed to Yale. I believe I read somewhere we had interest. He is a CT native and ranked tenth in New England Class of 2021. We had a pipeline going with NMH back at the turn of the century, (Curry, Serravalle and Meade), but Malloy becomes the latest in a long, long list of D1 players from there to go to an Ivy League college.

Different kind of highlight reel for a shooting guard---multiple blocked shots shown. I really liked his deft touch on receiving the pass at about 1:50-salvaged to play

If so he’s a smart and realistic player. You have to wonder, do some recruits think “I was 16 for 60 on threes this season, but I’m going to show myself nailing a half dozen threes on the highlight reel so college coaches will think I’m the next Steph Curry”. Our knowledgeable posters look for form, footwork, athleticism, use of both hands, ball handling, etc and no doubt college coaches do the same on film or in person

Malachi just picked up an offer from Wake Forest If this kid has done his homework he knows that Dannny Manning is on the thinnest of thin ice. Had the virus not hit he was to be bought out and released. John Beiliein(sp) was widely supposed to be the prime target to takeover. Now Wake has to postpone all this and suffer another dismal season under Manning.

Probably why I’m not a college coach but I’d respect the hell out of that kid.

Both kids are Kentucky high schoolers. Draud is a 6’6” SF and Hardin is a 6’6” PF.

Both kids are Kentucky high schoolers. Draud is a 6’6” SF and Hardin is a 6’6” PF. Draud is from Fort Mitchell, a suburb of Cincinnati. I think the school, Beechwood, has under 600 students Hardin is from Henry County, part of the Louisville SMSA, a couple counties East of the city. I think Henry County HS has 650 students

I heard, second hand hand, that Hardin is a throwback PF, but closer to 6’5 than 6’6 Ky do you have any additional info? I'll be on the lookout for them in the Courier-Journal now that I know the names. Scotty Draud finished #23 in points per game with 22.9 PPG on 198 2's, 63 3's, 170 FT's Trevor Hardin finished #40 with 9.3 rebounds per game and #21 with a .640 fg pctg
