6'4" is clearly better than 6'1" for a forward. Thanks for the correction.

In 2021 we will need 6 players. This is the first offer. Anyone know if Niego is still slated to graduate in 2021 or did he get a 5th year due to his injury.

He was around and didn't take any time away from school that I am aware of. I don't know if he picked up a double major that would require a fifth year to finish. Personally, I will be surprised if he does not graduate with his class and move on

When this tweet was launched the student was only a sophomore in high school (graduation year 2021) yet it states that he picked up a scholarship from Holy Cross. Pretty soon they will be recruiting twinkles in a father's eye.

Personally, I will be surprised if he does not graduate with his class and move on Eric Green certainly made a fortunate decision to graduate with his class, thus allowing him to be a major factor in the PLT and NCAA run. If an HC player is eligible to take a fifth year and is good enough to transfer there is an option to get a Masters instead of a double major Bachelors like RJ Evans did. RJ's situation may not arise again for a while because it was a unique situation of him being a Connecticut native, being a very good scorer and UConn being in their punishment year when they were not eligible for post season play. All reports were that he was a valuable contributor to the team that year. I'm sure the exposure to a higher level program and yet another coaching staff has been helpful to him in his career.

Please let me know when we offer and then land a 6’9+ kid who can rebound and play defense.

This is the nightmare scenario a lame duck coach who has had less than stellar recruiting success sitting on 6 scholarships and making offers to kids he in all likelihood has little chance to ever coach.

Does the Athletic Director's responsibilities include having the final say on any legally binding scholarship commitments from Holy Cross? I hope we have strong leadership from our new permanent AD and he insists on having final approval to mitigate the nightmare scenario you refer to. I am a little uncomfortable with sophomores "picking up" a scholarship from Holy Cross as mentioned in one tweet. I have to assume it is not a legally binding commitment from Holy Cross at this stage that vests as soon as the student is accepted by Admissions.

Carmody filling a roster of undersized players and shooters he will never coach is further tanking this program.

A significant # of Michigan kids that we have contacted. I will reach out to several coaches whom I know to get a scouting report on grades, talent level and likelihood of HC having a realistic shot.
