I have a difficult time seeing the work that is being done to the area next to the Luth from the Prior Web Cam. What Cam are you using to view the work? Are you unaware that Phreek has his own satellite Now we know the secret mission of the latest flight of the U S Space Force, Boeing X37B, Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV) . The X37B, that was launched on May 17, 2020, has placed an ultra high resolution satellite in a synchronous orbit above Mt. Pachachoag. The mission was funded by Dean Wormer to secure all vital data transmission regarding operations at HC. I wonder what information and images that have been secured. We always suspected that PP has covert pictures in his secret vault. π€π€«π

Though not taken from an ultra high resolution satellite in a asynchronous orbit above Mt. Pachachoag, the accompanying photo taken in an earthly drive by yesterday shows the Health Screening Trailer located just outside the entrance gate to the Prior construction area! Attachment Deleted

The giant crane has been repositioned to the front right corner of the construction.... nice up close view of it!
Also, the road from the Jo to the Hogan parking lot is closed off above the new oval recently put in between the Jo and Hogan. You cannot get to the Hogan parking lot from College Street. There is a large excavation going on in the middle of the road just below the entrance to Hogan. Perhaps sewerage/drainage? Maybe PP can weigh in...

There is a large excavation going on in the middle of the road just below the entrance to Hogan. Perhaps sewerage/drainage? Maybe PP can weigh in... Around ten days ago, I noticed a construction trailer being pulled up the Upper Campus Rd. in the direction of the PPAC site. But it never arrived there, at least not within camera view. The sewer lines for the PPAC are being laid from the east side of the building to Easy St. The water supply line may be an extension of the line that's already on City View. PPAC is a relatively low water use building. Installing that line should be a simple trench, cut and cover. So my suspicion is that the described excavation is for subsurface stormwater detention cells. These are concrete tanks that temporarily retain stormwater runoff to reduce overloading the sewer system, and minimize overflowing into the Middle river / Blackstone. If my suspicion is true, then this would be the first step to rebuilding / reconfiguring the parking lots on the west side of the road between Hogan and the hart. A re-design might even provide a few more spaces.

The webcams are working fine, both yesterday and today. It appears IT at the hosting service resolved the issue.
It also appears a contractor has begun re-paving the parking lot(s) to the west of the PPAC. i think this includes straightening the short section of roadway that connects City View with McCarthy Lane.

Yes, the webcams are back functioning properly here too! Don't know about the paving you mention.... Had an appointment yesterday morning in Worcester and drove through the parking lot... the excavation I mentioned last week near Hogan has been covered up and they are now excavating along the roadway from Hogan to the Luth using a large trench box. Attached is a picture taken yesterday morning....

This obviously is a temporary alignment between McCarthy and City view. I believe I saw a flatbed trailer pulling a paving machine and traveling west on McCarthly Lane (extended) to the intersection with the road between Luth and Hogan this morning. The cam's field of view was shifted to the left and that intersection no longer can be seen.

Looks like a modern day flying buttress made of aluminum (or some metal lighter than the steel beams they've been adding with the big crane) is being added to the North west corner of the PCPA. And if I might add ... the building appears to be massive. www.holycross.edu/webcams/center-arts-and-creativity

And if I might add ... the building appears to be massive. www.holycross.edu/webcams/center-arts-and-creativityLast week they did the same in the back corner (same side - see the attached photo). They have also filled in that corner and have been grading that area. Whatever pipes they laid in the Hogan parking lot the trenches have been filled in and paved. They also opened another entrance to the construction area at the top adjacent to the Hogan lot. Yes, the building is massive. Cannot imagine how these steel workers function in the heat that we have been having here in Central Mass.... Attachment Deleted

I think this is the last day for the really big crane. I can't think of another future potential project -- other than a hockey rink or a rebuilt Fitton Field -- that would require a crane with its lift capacity.

It appears that they are preparing to disassemble the big crane this morning as the boom has been dropped and is now pointing toward Brooks-Mulledy.

PP - any thoughts on what they are doing with the long trailer and rear tent setup? When they set it up last week there appeared to be some kind of mixing device there. Yesterday a worker came out from behind with a bunch of empty bags which are stacked up beside the the trailer.

Yesterday a worker came out from behind with a bunch of empty bags which are stacked up beside the the trailer. No. At first I thought it was a workshop for cutting architectural stone. Then I thought it was a specialty metal fabrication workshop. Now I think it might be a workshop for fireproofing the steel, and the reason I haven't caught a glimpse of that is because the fireproofing is going on below grade out of sight. But that's a total guess. I haven't caught anyone bringing materials to, or taking materials (or anything) from the trailer setup.

That's the main reason why I posed the question. Perhaps there is some sort of piping/hose that gets into the building and whatever is being "mixed/generated" is sent in that way, because the empty bags keep piling up with no activity going in or out of the trailer/building. After just taking another closer look at the rear of the trailer/tent, there appears to be a black hose that runs up the side of the foundation and over the top....

courtesy holy cross. view is of the SE corner, which cannot be seen from the webcam the topping out ceremony with the steel beam adorned with flag and tree. stats from the ceremony, on the amount of work that has gone into the building so farβover 15,000 cubic yards of earth moved and over 3,600 tons of concrete put in place
