The Niegos have to be one of the best basketball families in the country, no?

Beat out the Horizon League (Green Bay), the Missouri Valley (Evansville) and whatever league Winthrop is in these days (will let SoV fill in the blank). I'm gonna get all cocky for a moment and declare this a home run! Go Cross Go!

Like what I'm reading... Huge upside, potential, academics, just scratching the surface, connected with Coach Carmody, etc, etc, etc.
Seems like we wrapped him up before others got him on their radar.
Congratulations Connor and welcome to Holy Cross!
Kudos to the coaching staff!

Very happy for Connor and also very happy for Holy Cross. His stock was really starting to rise and had many more offers awaiting contingent on unofficial visits. Obviously only time will tell, but I think we caught a kid who has High Major potential that could develop into a stud that will have people wondering how Holu Cross was able to land him. Just yesterday, I was playing with him at our family reunion and was so impressed with how much more explosive he has become. I think his skill set really fits the Princeton offense well. His height, body type, and versatility remind me of Carmody's best player at NU John Shurna when he came out of high school.
FYI: He has 3 more brothers coming behind him that have D1 potential. Could be a nice pipeline down the road.

I'm very excited about this signing for the many reasons cited above. Illinoissader's input is invaluable as always, but one statement blows me away: three more younger Niego brothers in the pipeline!!! How competitive must they be growing up playing against Connor and Harrison?
I have to think Connor has great fundamentals and will thrive in our PO

I believe he will be more of a wing player, but I think he can play the high post spot as well in the PO especially as he adds more bulk.

Looks to be a great signing Connor seems to be just scratching the surface of his potential. will feel much better about long term success when a quality PG is brought on board
