To quote an old song, "We did it before and we can do it again." If HC does beat UNH, it would not be the first time, would it?

Many of the alumni listed like Kevin Durant played for the blue devils in middle school. The DC Assault and a few others peel the elite talent away from them in 9th/10th grade. Others not listed include a number of former Hoya players like Craig Sheldon, John Duran, Al Dutch, Jordan Clark, Julian Vaughn, Austin Freeman and Chris Wright

You should probably be more concerned with UNH’s football “recruiting” than HC’s former point guard. Another top 20 class coming up for the Cross. Maybe you’ll crack the top 50 this year. 🤣 😂 try getting into the playoffs before throwing stones 😂 if it makes you feel better congrats on your top 20 recruiting class! It at least makes you look relevant on paper. We’ll find out in September another UNH win or can the Cross pull the upset🤔 Not sure it will be an upset. HC on the rise. UNH on the decline. But congrats on beating out Stetson for your best recruit this year.

Nice player, seemed like a nice kid. Apparently, the chance to play with his Proctor teammate at Fairfield was a big draw.
Not for nothing, but I have heard a number of discussions on sports talk radio lately about how the NBA stars have turned into general managers and recruit the players they want around them. I think that the same thing is probably happening in college hoops. As someone who is inclined to like things that help the working person in the struggle with "the man," I guess I can't complain that the players have taken control of the process.
Good luck to Caleb.

Gee once out of the last 15 years you don’t make the playoffs and now you’re in decline? Wow! I believe this UNH team in decline shut out the rising Cross last year but what do I know 🤔

Good luck to Caleb....hoping it's an opportunity for Lincoln to carve out a role for himself. Who knows, maybe before long we'll have a SOL on the board.

I really don’t know much about UNH but they were worse last year than they have been and don’t seem to be getting much new talent through recruiting. And we’ve split the last two games with each team dominating the other once. Hopefully, the UNH staff has a better pitch to change their recruiting fortunes than, “Come to UNH, we used to make the FCS playoffs a lot.”

I wish Caleb well. His leadership will be one of the biggest things he brings to Fairfield. That will be missed. by HC.
Could it be that he saw the talent (and height) of the incoming recruits and saw he might be losing playing time to a "newcomer" by his senior year part of the reason to move on now?

After watching him play for two years I would be very surprised if this entered into his decision. He is a competitor and a team player. Pretty sure he would welcome the added depth

I don’t think the 2017-2018 season was that long ago 🤔. This comes from a member of a fan base who yearns for the glory days of the 1960s and oh what could have been with the Big East invite. That being said UNH holds a 2-1 lead in this series going into the last game of our 4 game contract. If Holy Cross can win this year and tie the series that will be a very impressive feat splitting with a CAA team. In all honesty I’m not sure what you see that suggests the Cross is rising and UNH who had the nation’s longest playoff streak (which included two appearances in the National Semi-Finals) is in decline. I’ll admit last year was a terrible year for us but then again we’ve gotten so use to winning that any season that ends with no playoff appearance is a awful year. As I say that this UNH team in decline still shut out the rising Cross and defeated the number 3 team in the nation the James Madison Dukes. I’m looking forward to the trip to beautiful Worcester my only complaint is it’s not a night game.

Couldn't find New Hampshire on either list, despite a number of CAA teams being ranked in the T25: caasports.com/news/2019/6/4/caa-football-well-represented-in-preseason-fcs-top-25-polls.aspxWasn't long ago UNH was routinely in the top ten. Everything okay in Durham?
