Thanks, Ky. It is fun to do. From his videos and a few eye witness accounts, Austin could rival Buddy's shooting prowess, but surpass him in athleticism. No one would mistake Buddy for a football player.

In their first game of a Florida tourney, Latrobe won, 75-60. Austin had 30 on 13 fg, 4-5 ft No 3-pointers?!

Perhaps the lack of three pointers in the last two games could come from defenders doing everything they can to stop his long-distance bombing and AB going by them for two pointers???

A likely scenario. Opposing coaches could be telling defenders to run Austin off the 3 point line at all costs, including open twos, jumpers or drives.

I would expect that he will see some box and ones too if he keeps up this scoring pace.

I would expect that he will see some box and ones too if he keeps up this scoring pace. The second and third scorers for Latrobe only had 13 and 10 today so he's definitely the one to guard. I like that he has not just relied on the deep ball in the last couple of games.

I liked this part:
"The 6-foot-5 Butler, a sneaky-good passer, also can be a dominant rebounder."
I'm surprised the article did not mention AB's shooting range.

**** Butler is a 6-foot-5 senior guard with shooting range from the locker room. I haven't seen him yet this season, but coaches have said he is doing much much more than shooting this season. His stats show it. Butler is averaging 30.1 points a game and is shooting 53 percent from the field. He has made 18 of 45 3-pointers (40 percent), but he is scoring in a variety of ways. He is also averaging 7.1 rebounds and 2.8 steals. blogs.post-gazette.com/sports/varsity-blog

'15-'16 season?... still impressive No, these highlights are from Jan 3 2017 game versus Norwin. What is confusing is that when you finish, the website concludes that you are interestd in Austin Butler and then offers those 2015-2016 highlights.
