I'm flying up. Maybe long-suffering and I can meet in person For a beer. I've got tickets to the tailgate. Thank you for the offer. I can't make the Navy game but will be attending the UNH game. I meant to respond earlier and was reminded to when reading about the hurricane. Hope you and the Butash family will be alright and can get back home before the heavy stuff hits, or better yet it veers away from your area.

Actually decided to stay. I own twenty acres with horses... Can't leave them here by themselves for that.
I will be at the new Hampshire game.

My "excuse" is distance and our 51st wedding anniversary. I'll have to settle for the first half (and watching the second half on tape later). OK, no one "tapes" any more, but it is a word I still use out of habit. GO CROSS.

At BDL, on my way to BWI. Airport is pretty quiet, surprisingly! Was supposed to meet my brother & nephew in Annapolis, but Dorian has him Putting up hurricane shutters tomorrow! Looking forward to a couple nice days in one of my favorite cities. Hope to see some Cross fans around town. May stop at Castlebay and have a pint or two at happy hour this afternoon.

Headed to Logan for flight to Baltimore - 12 loyal Purple Crusaders. Weather looks good for weekend and football team in high spirits. Should be a competitive game with Chesney at the helm.

If you like Castle Bay you have to check out Galway Bay right off of State Circle...awesome Irish pub, very local spot.

I can hardly miss this one. We moved to Annapolis last summer to be closer to the grandchildren. The stadium is only about 15 minutes away, meaning that this will be the quickest trip to an HC game since going to home games as an undergraduate. And, since my son lives three blocks from the stadium, I can park in his driveway and skip the traffic around the stadium. For anyone who's not going downtown and who craves salt and grease, every fast food place imaginable is on West Street, which is one route to the stadium. Also on West Street is the Double T Diner, which serves typical diner fare and is very popular with the locals.

I am heading down tomorrow morning with former poster NTKlaw and son as well as my dear wife. It's a manageable 3 hour ride from Princeton, according to Google maps. Anyone know the coordinates for the satellite parking lot? The directions on the Navy website are rather general. Also, there is no mention of a parking charge at this location. I'm guessing since its a Park and Ride, that it operated by the state or county.

36 here on Fox bus tour, staying at Hampton Inn and Suites. Getting ready for our morning tour of the Naval Academy, then lunch at the Killarney House Pub before heading back to the game! Looking forward to seeing the second edition of Chesney’s Crusaders! Just wondering if all HC fans are sitting in the same area. Our group is in the lower bowl on the goal line rows 14 - 17. Looking at this season with some optimism, but most importantly watching for the development of the first two recruiting classes and building quality depth at each position.
Beat Navy!

While the score of the game was certainly not what we wanted, the rest of the weekend trip to Annapolis definitely exceeded expectations. Meeting up with so many old friends and meeting a contingent of new Crusader parents reminded me once again as to how special the Crusader family is. Touring the campus of the USNA yesterday morning was a real treat. In the midst of taking in the many stories of personal heroism on display in Bancroft Hall, there was one that truly stood out. I will not soon forget the name and exploits of John W. Ripley. If you don't think one individual can make a difference in changing the course of human existence, I welcome sharing this brief clip on Colonel John W. Ripley:
God Bless America!!
In regard to the game, plenty of takeaways with selected items certainly needing to be addressed and others showing reason for real optimism.
Looking forward to the induction of legendary Crusader Dr. Jerry McCabe into the Ring of Honor next Saturday and an emotional display of football from both teams when the Crusaders take on UNH.
Let's Win!!
