Same as last season That is how a new coach gets some OOC wins and keeps his job he can defend it since they were 8-10 , 8th out of 14, in the A 10, possibly their best ever

Fordham will start maybe 7-1 and its fans will start calling for the Rams to be nationally ranked....

Perhaps they wanted to set a schedule that they felt would get their team a winning ooc record. Remember when the Ram head coach said they were not going to schedule HC any more because we could not give them a good level of competition (and Fordham then lost that year's game to HC)? If they were in the PL I believe they would be a positive addition and it would be great to see a NY market Jesuit team play HC on a regular basis in men's hoops league play. As it is, I don't much care whom they schedule.

DW may have gone .500 in the A10 in his best season.
Just looked it up -- he actually had three consecutive seasons where he was .500 or better in the A10.

Unless HC is on it I don't much care. They're ok...lots of the local rivalries, game at MSG

I guess the Little Sisters of the Poor would not return Neubauer's persistent calls.
Seems that Fordham is just looking to accumulate wins for an invite to one of the lesser tournaments where the RPI and quality of opponents means nothing. It was the approach to last season and it achieved its objective. On the flip side, this schedule is an outright admission by the powers that be in the Bronx that they are no where near good enough for serious postseason play.

But their A 10 record was their best in years. Pecora did a pretty good job recruiting, but was not allowed to see the fruits of that recruiting

If we were in the A-10 Conference, I for one would not.
But since we're in a less attractive conference, it's obvious that Pine/Carmody realize we have to strengthen our OOC sked. Fordham and others seek the reverse save for 2-3 opponents.
