QB’s seem pretty similar; both can throw and run. V’s QB may be a bit quicker.

Colgate looks like a shadow of last year's team...D is porous, no weapons for QB Brennamen.....only a half of football against a solid team, but they won't be clearly bettah than most PL teams this season imo.

27-0 at the half. Villanova (picked 9th preseason CAA poll) rolling. Looks like the Villanova team that opened with a W v FCS Temple last year (before the team was absolutely nailed by the injury bug). Don’t know how this translates in terms of Colgate quality ... V would have done this to Colgate last year in the first game IMHO.

Colgate doesn't look nearly as good as last year. They look like a team in rebuilding mode.

You nevah know though....Nova wasn't supposed to be that good either.....Gate also has to go to Williamsburg as well.

The 14 point Colgate loss to Army was much later, opening day Colgate beat HC by just 7. |

Gate was up 24-0 at H against us too....angels on the head of a pin argument....my point is that Gate was much more solid on both sides last year it seems. CBS SN just put up last years's PL Preseason Poll btw |

Colgate beat James Madison in the playoffs. They had a lot of outstanding seniors on last years team that apparently haven't been replaced. |
