I remember reading about the foot/ankle injury. From the time missed, it seems to have been severe. I hope he returns for the second half of his season and is 100% by the time he starts at HC.

His injury was written about after the Dec 20 game iirc

His injury was written about after the Dec 20 game iirc Right you are..."He landed awkwardly after getting fouled jumping for an offensive rebound and limped off the court with three minutes remaining in the third quarter." Landing awkwardly doesn't tell the severity of the injury and I am curious about that and his eventual return. Was there more said elsewhere?

In the box score for tonight's win, Matt's name is listed, but with zeros across the columns

He's missed over a month now, becoming a little worrisome. Foot injuries can become chronic problems, especially for big guys - Bill Walton, e.g., plagued by them virtually his entire pro career

Walton's foot problems were quite real. But, for me, the key there "...his entire PRO career." If Matt's contribution at HC leads him to the pros, I would be most pleased.

Faw had a tweet that would seem to suggest he is planning on playing tomorrow. Of course, I'm old so my Twitter-to-English translator may not be properly calibrated.

While I know I am treading on thin ice here, you might consult with "young" (70) Donald J. Trump, "tweeter-in-chief."
To your other point, a graduate from '92 old? hoops, must make you feel like Methuselah, and I not much younger!

According to COBL, the injury was a broken bone in his foot Bigs naturally have big feet. Lotsa stress from basketball on those longer foot bones. Has ended some pros' careers. We can only hope. I'd rather see him sit till Oct 15 or so.
