After reading more about Yale and all of their returning players, I probably should switch my pick to Yale...but staying put just because I am a stubborn, die-hard HC fan.

If we don't change our playbook on offense, Yale will win easily.

No faith in our defense?

Maine-- I wanted to find a way to pick Colgate but my home-state Black Bears certainly appear to have the better team
Albany-- Lafayette has played decently against three decent teams but remains winless. Albany appears to have a class advantage plus the home field
Stony Brook--- These two have one opponent in common to date: SBU beat Bryant by 25 while Fordham rallied for 23 points in the 4th quarter to win by 15. Stony Brook looks to be a bit better and has the home field advantage
Holy Cross-- with two weeks to work on its game plan I like to think we'll see some new wrinkles from HC--hopefully on offense for sure. Yale returns everyone from its stron team last season, but I am going with HC making a statement win in New Haven

Maine (Hard to believe that Colgate could be 0-4) Albany Stony Brook Holy Cross (First game for Yale and 3rd for the Cross with 2 weeks to prepare, think that makes a difference)

Maine - It's not last year for either team, but Colgate lost a lot more, particularly on defense.
Albany - Lafayette lost at home to Sacred Heart. They won't win this one on the road.
Stony Brook - Think Fordham will make a good showing, but home field boosts the Sea Wolves.
Yale - Hoping I'm wrong, but home field and a full pre-season camp to prepare for HC and remember last year's loss will put Yale over the top.

Maine, Albany, Stony Brook, Yale
Could see as many as 3 PL wins, but none of them are good enough odds for me to take them.

Maine Albany Stony Brook Yale
I have a gut feeling that there will be a surprise in the first three games, but no sense of who might surprise.

HC's loss was the closest of the four games.
