Here's where we stand through efg 72's selections
Merrimack 1 vs 24 Lehigh (1 participant selected Merrimack while 24 have selected Lehigh) Georgetown 3 vs 22 Columbia Richmond 23 vs 2 Fordham (surprised that only 2 of us took Fordham) Princeton 25 vs 0 Bucknell Penn 25 vs 0 Lafayette Colgate 2 vs 23 Dartmouth Holy Cross 3 vs 22 Syracuse

Richmond beat Fordham 52-7 last year hence the all-around apprehensiveness to pick them. No PL squad has even been competitive against a CAA team this year outside of our UNH win. And that includes games against teams that will likely finish near the bottom of that league.

Lehigh Columbia Richmond Princeton Penn Dartmouth Syracuse
The overall ineptitude of the PL this year has taken some of the fun out of this during the OOC portion of the schedule. It should become much more interesting when we start to get league matches.

Lehigh Columbia Richmond Princeton UPenn Dartmouth Syracuse - I would be very happy if this pick was wrong with this selection. Will be wearing purple while watching on the ACC / ESPN network.

ok, here's mine:
Lehigh (they better get it done !) Columbia (they have been improving in recent years) Richmond (the Rams simply don't match up vs. CAA talent) Princeton (name the score) Penn (same thing, they were a two point conversion away from winning at Delaware) Dartmouth (I'm afraid Colgate without Brenneman is not the same team) Syracuse (I hope our D comes to play)

Lehigh (and if they don't the wolves be howling for TG's head) Columbia Richmond Princeton UPenn Dartmouth Syracuse (hoping for decent showing and improved offense by HC and come home without injuries)

Some improvement by the PL today - but it did not help my picks: Lehigh - won 10-3 over Merrimack Columbia = loses to Georgetown 24-10 Richmond = loses to Fordham 23-16 Princeton = won 56-23 Pennsylvania = won 28-24 Dartmouth = leads Colgate 14-0 Syracuse - won 41-3

Bucknell tied it up with Princeton, 14-14, six+ minutes left in the second.

Villanova up 30-3 at the end of the 1st half v Maine. Making it look VERY easy. Mobile QB who can throw a bit. Crazy concept?!!! Maybe the 3 PL teams they demolished to open the season are not that bad.

Finally, a few surprises out of the league. Meanwhile Lehigh may be worse than supposed. It is always better to win but they struggled with Merrimack. It’s a W though so it was brilliant scheduling. Colgate is getting spanked so maybe it will come down to the Cross and the Hoyas.

Lehigh narrowly beat Merrimack? Lehigh was terrible last year and I guess the only way is up for Gilmore.
Tough to start in year 1 with such a poor team. How did Lehigh get so bad over the years? Was it primarily Coen's sickness like Dan Allen?
