Part of our blowout prep might be a plan to throw in another QB (although the circumstances are different, we did use 3 QB's v BC during that debacle).

He absolutely dropped his helmet. Should be targeting.

Why would he not throw that away when wide open to a defender?

Maybe but Connor is definitely our best option at QB this year based on what I saw in scrimmage/practice I went to. Chesney agrees with me which is the most important thing. He goes to practice every day.

Bad Syracuse penalty but CD really needs to play smarter.

Good to see the refs protecting Connor with the targeting call. Ejection for Richards of Syracuse.

Syracuse showing their character. Another 15-yarder (unnecessary roughness) on the very next play.

Dumping the receiver that way was really bush. This in not pro wrestling.

I guess it’s illegal to hit people hard on defense. Haha

Were burning a bit of clock on this drive and got some good yardage via penalties...would be nice to keep them under 30 at the half.

Based on the definition said, leading with the helmet is targeting

I guess it’s illegal to hit people hard on defense. Haha It’s illegal to take a running start at the QB and lead with the crown of your helmet. Also illegal to body slam the receiver. That’s why the paid refs made the calls they did, the first one after a replay to make sure they got it right. Haha.

I guess it’s illegal to hit people hard on defense. Haha Are you watching and listening? Very obvious and dangerous hit. As the announcers pointed out also meant to protect the defense, do not use the helmet
