I hope Considine is OK. They put CD back in after that to end the game.

This Syracuse team is not in the top half of the ACC, and for good reason. Maryland put up 63 points on them, and yesterday Maryland lost to PSU 59-0.
I saw Deandrade again talking with the offense. He is listed as the cornerbacks coach.
HC total offense appears to be 138 yards.

Do you watch sports? Lol

As the announcers noted, Syracuse's future ACC opponents will take not of HC's success with its defensive scheme against Syracuse, and Syracuse's difficulty countering it.
HC's offense in the third quarter was -1 yard.
Of HC's possessions, 10 punts, one FG, 0-4 on fourth down attempts, and one lost fumble.
HC won the time of possession 36 minutes to 24 for the Orange.

Game was simply we couldn't move the ball....argument is was it more lack of scheme/execution or overwhelmed by size/speed?
I'd argue a little bit of both.

The offensive ineptitude is a combination of CD simply not having an ability to make certain throws and stretch the field, along with Chesney / Murphy not willing to be remotely imaginative on offense — probably a result of CD’s limitations and Chesney’s run-first philosophy.
That has all added up to two offensive touchdowns and 26 points by the offense in 16 quarters.
If the offense sputters against Bucknell, Chesney absolutely needs to change things up with either personnel or the guy who is calling plays.

If this is year 2 of this offense, what does year 3 look like? Are we going to pray for Chris Butash or a true freshmen to run this heavy RPO/Air Raid system next year? The current offensive scheme is repetitive, unimaginative, and requires no adjustment for the opposing defense. In my opinion, the current "tool" box being offered is setting these kids up for failure, regardless of who takes snaps.

Toss in the inability of the offensive line to open holes or pass protect for the first four games OH I agree...give em somewhat a pass today...but they have been the biggest disappointment imo this season. Hard team to get a read on so far...everybody we've played has been better to vastly better than the remaining 8 teams we'll play.

Left out of the HC notes on the game was Wilkinson's 44.2 average on 9 punts

He did punt well, Ng's FG was like a 45 yarder too, no?
Coverage for the most part on kickoffs/punts was decent too, given their speed. Only really one blown coverage I think.
Special teams did fairly well imo today. We simply couldn't move the ball much.

We had a QB in the Allen era named Brian Hall. Pretty sure it took him until year two to beat out the incumbent (who was awful)...so don't assume next year's QB isn't on the current roster.

Since our goals were to arrive safely, participate in the game, stay healthy, pick up a check, and return safely to Worcester I’d like to say we achieved all of our goals in this poorly-conceived game 4 matchup. I’ll have to double check the injury report- there were a few big QB hits (and a body slam).

Minor detail from the game yesterday but does anyone know why Ng punted from our own 30 yesterday in the second quarter rather than Wilkinson?
