The team has played well so far and is 0-1-2 after ties against Penn St last weekend. Big test at home tonight vs. 7th ranked BC (2-0 so far). With free admission, will many show up ? Hopefully more on Saturday night when UConn comes to the Hart.

Probably many more 2022 olympians on that BC squad.

Despite free admission (and always free for students), a low turnout on a Thursday night. I remember some recent issues with midweek basketball games. The outside public just don't seem to come up during the week. Local girls hockey teams also can be counted on to support the Holy Cross Women's Hockey team and I imagine those girls would have practice and school obligations on a school night. Curious about HEA attendance later on this season against teams such as BC, BU, and Providence. Game got out of hand quickly. Watched the game until the Bruins came on. Good tough 1st period for HC, but the Eagles woke up during intermission!

Should be noted Holy Cross had a higher per game attendance than BU and finished third in the league in per game attendance. hockeyeastonline.com/women/statistics/1819/oaattend.php

Surprised by the two losses to St. Lawrence. Based upon their record, (1-3-2) and record last year (although they have posted good seasons under their coach Chris Wells) I suspected closer games. Afternoon game at 2 today at BC

Lost at BC this afternoon 5-1 - SOG disparity 44-14 Personally I wish the school had scheduled some early season games where we have a chance to win. Next game is home on Sunday vs. RPI - we have a chance in this one

I liked the St. Lawrence series last week and based on last year's record didn't know how good the Saints would be this year. I would even mix in games later in the season around Christmas break against the Lindenwoods, Syracuses, Posts, and St. Anselms of the world. Give the team a break and a good confidence boost. We will be competitive soon and I suspect the bottom half of HE might yield a win or two this year. We might have 6 or 7 wins with more and smarter non-conference tilts.

So, you want to schedule some easy wins? Wasn’t Milan Brown criticized for doing that to help ensure he had a winning record and get his contract extended?

We’re in our 2nd year in arguably to best women’s D.1 league in the country - no one wants another season with hardly a win (we’re underdogs every night) Univ of Maine opened their season with two games vs. sacred heart - that’s a series we should have scheduled!

RPI is 0-6 so far this season - leading HC 1-0 middle of 2nd period - really hope the ladies can pull through here

RPI scores late for a 2-2 tie = HC dominated statistically so that's a positive takeaway

1-0 loss to PC and we out-shot them 26-23. The Hockey East wins will come slowly but surely.
