Princeton Colgate GTown Brown (I have very little confidence in our offense; hope I'm proven wrong.)

With the ranking services/computers favoring HC I’m astounded by the great number of pickers selecting Brown to win.

Princeton-- Lafayette is 0-5 but played well @ Monmouth and vs Penn. Still, Laf's best game of the year would not make it competitive with the Princeton juggernaut.
Colgate-- Colgate must be at the point of desperation now as I'm guessing this is the school's worst start in decades if not ever. The offense looks moribund but so does Bucknell's. I'll go with Colgate in this one.
Georgetown--Other than the opening game loss to Davidson, which is not as weak this season as it usually is, Georgetown has played well in every game. Setting aside the Cath U game, G'town has given up just 21 points while scoring 81 in beating Marist, Columbia, and Cornell. I see a highly motivated Hoyas team taking this one at home
Holy Cross-- Which E.J. Perry will we see this weekend, the one who carried the ball 18 times for an astonishing 227 yards @ Bryant or the one who had 12 carries for 8 yards @ Harvard? Then there's his passing, very impressive versus URI but no great shakes versus Harvard and Bryant. I believe Holy Cross, with all our offensive woes season to date, will be able to move the ball against Brown (Brown yielded 497 yards to Bryant, 521 to Harvard, 466 to URI) and that will be a confidence builder and the Crusader defense will play a tough game. Let's spring Cozier for some long gains, go to Gilliam repeatedly, and capitalize on Derek Mountain's talents. Let's see CD check for 2-3-4 receivers (need great line play of course) as he seemed to do a few time versus the Bison, and nail the open man with that strong arm of his (50 yards in the air to Gilliam that one play)

Colgate went 0-11 sometime in the mid-90s, the year before Biddle came in I believe.
Whatever happened to our Colgate postahs here btw? Same for the Laffy and Fordham guys? About the only non-HC PL people posting here are bison137 and DFWHoya these days.

I don't like to invade different boards unless it's something relevant/interesting to others. Holy Cross definitely has the PL's most interesting board imo. Lafayette's can be entertaining if you're looking for sadness and depression.....

Some tough picks this week - I'll go with: = Princeton (I really hope the league is not embarrassed on national tv) = Colgate (Breneman getting back into the flow, we made Bucknell look better than they are) = Gtown (the Hoyas are legit) = Holy Cross (this game scares me if we don't get more offense)

I will protect the identity of this player on the team but prior to the Bucknell game, I informed him that my situation prevents me from attending any games in person for the remainder of the season and to not "win one for the 'Gipper'" but "win one for the Gray Crusader." He then had a very good game against the Bison and I basically doubled-down and suggested that they also beat Brown for me as it is one of our local teams in RI, Here's his redacted response: I post this only to tip the scales for those on the fence as to who to pick in the game tomorrow.

Laffy defense doing well. Stopped Princeton inside the 5 on downs and Princeton missed a FG but are up 14-3 over the Leopards.
A little like watching the HC team- defense playing pretty solid but offense sputters. Laffy play calling was especially bad on one possession when they threw to the flat 3 consecutive times and made perhaps 4 yards total. It didn’t work the first, second or third time they tried.
Laffy defense has to be gassed. Yet, game is still closer than most would have expected. Now, let’s see what happens in the second half.
