Thank you to who ever was responsible. On a possibly related note, ADMB was fantastic at halftime of the game. Complimentary of the alumni passion and involvement, student athletes, and the mission. He is well spoken and a great addition. Let's hope his most recent hire turns out well for us this winter.

You're welcome! The redacted response I got from Marcus after I complained about Stadium, complimented the sale of Crusader logo swag and questioned the potted plants: Thanks for the post, Sader. Curious how he does not want to offend supporters of the knight logo as well. I wonder if a new banner will be in next season's budget. Or if the priority is much lower on the athletic agenda as oppose to the College's administration. After retiring the Crusader logo I am surprised the College didn't force ADNP to buy a new banner with shields and snowflakes on it.

Cupcakes and snowflakes. Surprised they even allowed the cross on the back of today’s helmet because it might offend moslems.

Crossports wins again. Thank you ADMB for listening!
I heard through the grapevine that ADMB is not happy with the amount of people out on the baseball field. If you’re reading this, please leave us alone and don’t turn HC into Boston College. It’s all about the alumni and family connections don’t change it!

I don’t want gestapo tactics but come on, go to the game and support the team!
For those who don’t have interest in going to the game, have a separate parking/tailgate area like at the top of the hill to allow more room to park for people going to the game.

Looks like the potted plants have been removed. Thank you, ADMB. They’re all grouped together under visitor bleachers. Wondered what they were, then just saw this thread. Amusing...

This train left the station along time ago. It’s counterproductive to keep rehashing the same arguments that were made previously. The knight is gone (except a few remaining in faded glory on the sidelines of the football field). It’s not worth being upset about. Only raises people’s blood pressure. Let’s look forward.

As mentioned earlier, the potted plants I was told were placed as possible decorations for the Mass of the Holy Spirit during Orientation.
The stadium wrap is in its fourth season, probably will be coming down after this year as maintenance will be needed, and the stadium is in need of a paint job, particularly on the steel girders supporting the seating.
Hope I am alive to see the remodeled Fitton. Had a nice discussion today regarding how to make it ADA compliant with an enormous expense while maintaining the horseshoe. Would like to see possible renderings and discussion on this board. Maybe a good off season discussion item during the winter.

Tailgating during the game has always ( if the 70s count as always) been an issue at Fitton. Drove my Dad insane lol.
It is what it is....if we continue to be successful, play meaningful games etc. many will come into the stadium for part of the game anyway. Beer sold at Fitton may draw many in as well.

The more alums coming back to campus, the better. If they want to come to campus to tailgate without going to the game, forcing them into the game doesn’t make sense. They just won’t come at all next time. Get as good as we were in the 80s, and most will come in for at least part of the game. If not, not the end of the world.
