The following pdf files are extracted from the contractor bid documents. You will need a large monitor to read them. (I modified the file names by adding exit capacity and emergency exits upper, because I have dozens of files from the bid documents, and it was often difficult to tell one from the other. If you click on the link, it will download a pdf file to your computer 201200404885__1_LS-010_exit capacity.pdf (121.37 KB) ^^^ This is the field level of Luth, and new locker rooms. 201200404885__1_LS-020_exit capacity 2.pdf (262.21 KB) ^^^ This is strength and conditioning Luth, main entrance, court level Hart, rink level Hart, Blaney, locker rooms in old Hart, pool, etc. etc. 201200404885__1_LS-030_emergency exits upper.pdf (150.25 KB) ^^^ Spectator seating rink, upper level spectator seating Hart Court, Bud Ryan room, I discovered in the lower right of LS-030 a tabulation of spectator seating for the rink, which is 859. I missed one of the notational arrows in my count.

This confirms it's safe to call the Hart Center Rink "the cozy confines." I'll take that over photos of 2970 stragglers in Cornell's huge stadium for Saturday's football game against Colgate. It looked like the stadium was under quarantine.

I know we have always had a lot of standing room fans (particularly after my junior year in 2010 when basketball attendance seemed to dip), but I find the tabulation to be quizzically low considering our capacity is listed at 1,400 and our average attendance last year was 1,550. At 110% over capacity, we are one of 7 squads with an average attendance over capacity. Minny average 228% over capacity. Love to see what their "exit capacity" is!

Unless they changed the windows in there, I guess they can add 81 occupants of the Bud Ryan room to the capacity.
