Of course it is low mid major, and who denies that it is light years away fro D1–cheating, scandals, one and dones, etc. That past is long gone. Why not let it go ?

HC87,
By "big boy D1 hoop" I assume you mean the semi-pro programs with all of their abuses of the system (and sometimes of athletes). HC is clearly not there nor is the PL...and for that I give thanks.

It really wasn't that different back in the day....it is what it is....the school went "whole hog" on the PL...good for HC as a school but it basically gutted the hoop program....trade off basically.

OK, “it is what it is.”
Can you change it?
Will TPTB change it?
No? Then accept it or drive yourself crazy. Do us a favor and don’t chauffeur the rest of us to crazy land with you.

Kudos to SoV for compiling (as bad as the records are) these btw...some people love to bitch&complain here (which is their right...and what drives these boards) but very few actually post usable/factual info.

According to Sagarin the worst team in Div I is Mississippi Valley State,
On a neutral court we would be a 9 point favorite.
So we got that going for us..........

You are a few possessions away from winning 3 OOC games The reaction to the early performance of this team in a new brand of play mystifies me
It is certainly going to be uneven in spots, with challenging moments adjusting to m/m and college talent, quickness and speed, but once we learn to support defensively and step into some passing lanes this will be a different team. Still believe this group will get double digit wins as I have now watched all the PL teams play as well as some of our remaining OOC competition.
Judge this at the end of the year

Massey has 0-6 Delaware St and Maryland Eastern Shore at the bottom. HC would be a 12 point favorite over Md Eastern Shore. (HC 85% chan ce for the win) HC would be a 13 point favorite over Delaware State (HC 87% chance for the win)
No matter how rough things seem, things could always be worse.

Not easy to make such posts, but in the end it is only for information. I looked on the list but did not see "peaches and cream" or "Peaches and Herb" for that matter. FWIW, I do show the date so that tells you what the rank will be like (if you are an HC fan and at least know their record). If I have offended anyone, I will be glad to apologize.

Keep posting these, RGS. Those who aren’t interested can just ignore. Your thread headings are pretty clear and give plenty of warning for those who don’t have any interest.
