Is the signature win of the year BU over South Carolina? Not paying much attention to the PL this year. That and I’m still having trouble getting used to the idea of Colgate being a basketball school.

The league would be doing much better if not for Holy Cross. Just a shame that we are not up to the league standards. I hope in the Christmas spirit that the PL doesn't start a campaign to kick Holy Cross out of the league. We can only hope. Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

Nice win for Colgate over the Bearcats 67-66
Their basketball IQ might be the best in the PL
Raymond was brilliant
Mostly man with a touch of 2-3
We can score against them, but at this point we have no options to slow them down

Rarely, if ever, will you see stupider basketball than Cinci in the final six seconds. Tie game and their guard takes a 55 footer with over 5 seconds left.

After today, the PL has moved up to #19 in the conference rankings (Pomeroy). Only once has the league ever finished with a higher ranking: 2013, which was the senior year of McCollum and Muscala.

Here's where Ken Pomeroy has the Patriot League ranked over the past few years. Of course we know the past years include OOC, League play, and post season while this year includes only part of the OOC schedule 14-15= #23 with (5.26) rating 15-16= #27 (8.24) 16-17= #23 (4.79) 17-18= #27 (8.16) 18-19= #21 (4.84) 19-20= #21 (5.18) I interpret the rating of (5.18) to mean that the #230 team in D-1 would be projected to go 9-9 in league play. Updated 14-15= #23 with (5.26) rating 15-16= #27 (8.24) 16-17= #23 (4.79) 17-18= #27 (8.16) 18-19= #21 (4.84) 19-20= #19 (5.04) The Patriot League has moved up to #19 and that appears to be the limit as the #18 Summit League is at (3.87) a very great distance from where the PL is now.

OMG, that was a B.S. call that Colgate benefited from! Maybe the refs just wanted to get home and overtime would have delayed the trip.

Better make sure before you embellish that if it fails the opponent isn't going to end up with a wide open jumper to win the ballgame. Just sayin'. Good chance it was a flop but I don't consider it a very smart one.

He noted he wanted players who were situational aware regarding in game play.

Andy understood the margins in our games would be determined by a few key possessions-decision making by players was critical

Looks like Colgate continues to develop the flop this year, on that game ending foul call That was a terrible call by the official. The Colgate player wasn't even in position to make an 80 foot heave and it certainly wasn't a safety issue for the Colgate player. He should have been called for something. Is it the NBA that now calls you for flopping? As Johnny Most used to say "he pulled a Stanislovski."

Saw a flop called last night in the Stanford/USF game. USF player flopped and Stanford was awarded a foul shots for the acting.
The flop I disliked, but was beneficial to HC occurred in the 2016 Patriot League tournament during the HC game against Army. Clearly was an egregious acting job and Army was penalized. Anyone remember the two players involved?

Bucknell bites the dust vs Siena, AU blows a first half lead of 16 vs Stony Brook and Army gets clobbered by Wagner
Let’s see what Columbia does vs Colgate
If we can learn to defend at all we can be competitive sooner than we think-defense is possible if you have a heart and soul as a team
