New Hampshire beat Curry College 93-29 in its opener. Curry shot 3-30 on twos and 6-30 on threes and was outrebounded 59-23. I'm guessing we got more out of the Maryland ga,e than the Wildcats got our of this mismatch with Curry
Last year UNH opened up with Rivier College, winning 108-54, but then went 4-24 the rest of the season.

Unfortunate that this game is at the same time as the football game; I'm assuming I'll be a rooting section of 1 (unless I can bribe Nadette with an early dinner after the game).
Will be a totally different atmosphere for the team to experience; hopefully they play as hard as last night.

They might be more competitive.

Massey makes HC a 6 point favorite at New Hampshire (65-59) with a 68% chance for the win. I am looking forward got seeing how HC rebounds against UNH, especially on the offensive glass.
GO CROSS GO.

UNH PREVIEW
STARTERS: 02 Suthlerlin, Sean G (Jr ,6'5", 185) 24 Martinez, Jayden F (So, 6'7", 200) 23 Lester, Chris F (Sr, 6'6" 225) 15 Hopkins, Josh G (Jr, 6'5" 200) 05 Carbone, Mark G (Sr, 6'2" 190)
TOP SUBS 03 Guadarrama, Nick F (So, 6'5" 225) 14 Johnson, Bryce G (Fr, 6'3" 185)
A bit early for any meaningful stats (especially with their only game the blowout vs. Curry) Their top scorer (20) and rebounder (18) was Gudarrama. He did not start but does appear to be the best player on UNH.

I will be rooting from Fitton Field. Hopefully I can follow it with the bad reception in the end zone. Lets go 2-0 on the day.

It's funny, KenPom has UNH winning 68-66 with HC having a 42% chance of winning. I like our chances. We'll certainly have a height advantage up front

For me these predictions have little to no meaning at this point in the season. They are based on what? And while on the subject, why is UNH ahead of us in football polls?

Because everyone knows (like UNHfan) that they are in a much better league and our win must have been a fluke or in the instant case a bad call be the refs.

UNH is 4-1 in the CAA, 5-3 overall. Maybe we'll see them in the FCS playoffs and settle this debate of whether our home opener victory was a fluke on the field.

Somehow I have a feeling the MIT folks will get payback.
Maybe an inflating balloon at mid court this time?😊

Well how about a good joke from years ago? What do you know about a person you see with more than 12 items in the Express Lane at a grocery store in Harvard Square. It's either an MIT student who can't read or a Harvard student who can't count?

The UNH men certainly scheduled a cupcake for their opener but their women’s team went with the opposite strategy playing at Baylor- they lost 97-29 - but check this: Baylor scored the first 37 points of the game and led 53-3 at the half

Manchester, NH. About 35 miles and 45 minutes without the hassle of Boston traffic.
Delta also has daily direct service to Worcester, a longer drive but it’s an option.

Agree. But at the risk of embarrassing him, "Fan of the Century" has to go to NAD.
The Wade's literally have skin in the game with their son and nephew (well, maybe blood and genes). If they went to another college, they'd be following that team (as they should). Non Alum Dave on the other hand, has purple blood by adoption. Like Fr. K had.

Will there be a streaming replay of game on ESPN3 also soon after game is finished ? Would like to watch after the football game rather than at same time .
