I just ordered my tickets on the Monmouth website (Section 106 on the 50 yard line) for $25 each. I have them and can print them now. If you reserve them on the Holy Cross website you have to put a $10 deposit down and you are not guaranteed a ticket. There are only 4200 seats so I recommend you purchase them from the Monmouth University site to guarantee attendance.

I assumed they would be taking orders until they've sold whatever they have allocated

It is a lot like Fordham. The stadium is on campus, older but just redone. All fans sit on the same side. Nice campus, was Woodrow Wilson's estate, converted to a college.
I don't expect much home field advantage over Thanksgiving weekend. I think we may have more fans than Monmouth at this one.
They do have a new scoreboard and jumbo-tron!

Nevah been to Monmouth, nor will I go this year but I expect a decent showing of HC fans from that neck of the wape.
Seems like pretty prime HC-country...we should be well repped hopefully.

FCS playoffs do not draw well - Attendance will be sparse imo ‘Plenty of good seats available’ right up to gametime - agree that we might have as many fans as Monmouth

Will many HC students be there ? How many players have girlfriends, boyfriends or siblings currently enrolled at HC? Multiply that number by 1.05

Just my opinion, but I think it would make more sense to have a bye week over thanksgiving then come back and have the first round.
If i'm not mistaken, that's actually how it was done when I was playing (I could have sworn Colgate had a bye over thanksgiving before the playoffs, could be wrong)

Based on Sagarin Ratings we will be a 9 point underdog.
They have a running back, Pete Guerriero, who is a total stud at this level. He's strong and a sprinter in HS.
He averaged over 6.5 yards a carry and ran for 477 yards in just the last two games. If we want to compete, we'll have to contain him.
Go Saders!!

Agree but I am way more concerned about their passing yardage given our pass rush and allowing the deep ball

My biggest concern is finding an offensive rhythm early.
I think we need establish a power running game early on and get the play action going so we can control the clock.
Winning the turnover battle will be critical.

Saying Holy Cross is a walkover is ludicrously delusional. Who is the clown who wrote that?

I think it would be sad if Monmouth cannot fill 4200 seats for such an important game. I would think that thousands of HC fans would also come. So get tix through HC website at your own risk.

A sellout is extremely unlikely, between the schedule and the host being Monmouth. They just don’t sell out. The Hawks have a great head coach and an experienced staff. Also they’ve been getting good institutional support and facilities upgrades. They have more FBS and borderline players than anybody in the PL. Good offense. Better than HC’s. The walkover comment is flippant but this game is a big challenge. Monmouth got hammered by a decent Western Michigan team early. On the other hand they have not walloped PL teams the past few years.

How does our team look physically? I know a couple of players were dinged up in the Georgetown game. We will need all hands on deck on Saturday, especially on offense.

NJIT is in the Atlantic Sun in their sports! Stony Brook University played football in the Big South thru their terrific 2012 season before gaining entry to the CAA. An odd collection of opponents for a Long Island school but it fit the bill (at the time) for SBU as a bridge from the NEC to the CAA.
