Feels a little better around here now, doesn't it (at least for the moment)?
Congrats to Coach Nelson on win number 1 (hopefully of many)! Gutty performance by the team!

Yay! First win, 81-67. Pridgen and Butler both with double-doubles. Nice win without Lowder. Edit: Oops, Pridgen with 9 rebounds, just missed.

Doing this with our top scorer out injured is MOST impressive and enjoyable. A lot still to do, but that TEAM was great to watch in the second half today.
Lutsk says Pridgen player of the game.
Who would have thought we would do this with Yeutter getting. 35 minutes of play???

Very impressive second half.
Pridgen is a stud. Maybe our best player.
Mercer was up 45-40 with 17:10 remaining and we went on a 41-11 run over the next ~15 minutes.
If memory serves, the lineup that was on the floor during most of this stretch was Yeutter, Butler, Hargis, Pridgen, and Verbeek.
Verbeek looked a lot more comfortable out there today than he did earlier in the season.
Easily Butler's best game of the season. Amazing what happens when he doesn't force things on offense.
Great to leave Boca Raton with one win. Looking forward to eyewitness accounts from Sarasota and 81.

I will say Yeutter played a very good game. solid at point and good D. Pridgen played well, was interesting to see no Niego or Faw for last 18 min. In think someone mentioned Lowder at the 2 and Riley at 1, I say Lincoln has earned that spot.

I just heard the second half of the game, and noticed Faw only played 4 minutes, and had 3 fouls...Did he get injured? of was it coaches decision? Lincoln was a payer who was impressive in the open scrimmage the team had, good to see him have a great game!

Congratulations to the team and coaches! The first step in what we hope will be a wonderful journey. I’m not a stat guy, but I wonder when HC last scored so many points in the paint.

efg72 gets credit for touting the coaching LY received in high school; hope this game is a springboard for a permanent playing role for him.

Congratulations to Coach Nelson and the team for a great effort today. Very happy Nelson's first win came against a D-1 opponent. Really good contributions from a lot of players with great games by Pridgen and Butler. I asked yesterday whether Reilly or Yeutter was the back up point I guess we now know. Credit to EFG who last year touted Yeutter as a better than average walkon player.

I believe efg72 has been driving the Yeutter wagon since he committed to HC out of Bullis -- great read. He definitely looked like a D1 PG out there and looks more ready to run the offense and spelling Lowder when he returns to the floor than Joe Reilly.

So, this means Mercer would lose to Northeastern by 71, right?
