It's either Brown or Harvard that has ten seniors on the BB roster this year.

Daniel Friday from University of Detroit Jesuit, who visited HC, is a Brown freshman. A versatile player with good size (think Joe Pridgen). So far playing 17 minutes/game with less impact than Drew Lowder and Joe Pridgen.

I am very well and have been aware that James Perry is his uncle and the head coach since EJ entered the portal last spring. If James Perry was still coaching at Bryant instead of Brown, would he have transferred there to play for Uncle? We will never know. Moot point now.
Other factors than his uncle being the coach could have been in play. 1) HC may have offered a full scholarship, where at Brown the aid is need based. 2) He may not have wanted to play for an immediate family member as it could have been awkward regarding family dynamics. 3) He wanted to play Basketball along with Football at the college level, Holy Cross said no, Brown said yes.
Now that Football season is over, wonder how much PT he will see?

Doesn’t look like EJ decided to leave BC until this summer as he participated in spring practice at BC...Anyways, it worked out well for EJ as he set several school and Ivy League records in his first season in Providence. The problem was they couldn’t stop anyone 😂

If that's not the case, then Perry probably regrets it now as he would have played several games for the Eagles after Brown got hurt. Don't remember much about Perry as a basketball player at Andover, but I recall one of the Perrys (Uncle, Dad or Grandad) being a basketball coach at several places, including Algonquin and Malden Catholic.

He gets to star in football, play some hoop, and get an Ivy League school degree. The decision to transfer may come to be seen as a wise move

He played HS football in Mass., he can't be that good . I doubt we evah had a shot given the family ties etc.... I'm fairly certain Chesney will continue to lure solid QB talent to Mt St James from all parts of the country.
