I watched this wonderful tradition at HC and encourage all here to take some time to appreciate the faith tradition that HC still holds dear - it was held last evening to a standing-room only crowd in the church - there are plenty of reasons to find concern about some of what we see on college campuses these days, but one cannot argue that HC is in the right place at this time of the year. I went to the link but when I click to play, I get a message that the video is "unavailable." Any idea why?

I looked at the pdf of the program. Among the readers was our head baseball coach, Greg Dicenzo.

Last night was the 41st annual.
I think I attended the 5th. I was out in Worcester early yesterday evening and went to this instead of heading home. I enjoyed it and might attend again before another 35 years goes by

Participated in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th ( Dec 1981 - 1984) and it was always a highlight of first semester to pause in the hectic close of the semester and get ready for Christmas. Have attended a couple over the last 5-6 years and watched others since the College has been streaming them. It remains one of the special traditions that makes Holy Cross, Holy Cross.
Was unable to watch live last night, but will likely watch the full service tonight with family.

As Fordham does, would we be better off having it on a weekend so that more local alums could attend ?

As Fordham does, would we be better off having it on a weekend so that more local alums could attend ? I would estimate at least 1/3 of the attendees were not currently associated with the college. I assume most of those old people I saw were alumni. Although the many students in attendance would disagree, I was not one of the old people

Ok, but might more local alums, young and old, more likely attend on a weekend ?

Ok, but might more local alums, young and old, more likely attend on a weekend ? Perhaps. . . but not too many more. There some standing as it was. Not a lot standing, but some
