From yesterday's Worcester Telegram (Jen Toland):
The Holy Cross football team placed five players on the All-ECAC teams for the Football Championship Subdivision. Senior offensive lineman Brett Boddy and senior defensive back Chris Riley were selected to the first team, while senior running back Domenic Cozier, junior offensive lineman Brian Foley and junior defensive lineman Benton Whitely earned second-team honors. ... HC special teams coordinator and tight ends coach Drew Canan was named the 2019 New England Assistant Coach of the Year by the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston. Canan helped HC to a 7-6 record and the Patriot League championship. HC’s special teams unit ranked ninth in the nation with five blocked kicks and was 18th in the country in punt return coverage (4.5 yards per return). On the offensive side of the ball, Canan was instrumental in the development of tight end Derek Mountain, who earned second-team All-Patriot League honors.

I have not heard of it before this either.
According to the Twitter page of the CGS Small School Showcase:
"The College Gridiron Small School Showcase enables players at the FCS, D2, D3 and NAIA level the chance to perform in front of NFL and CFL Teams."

The son of a friend of mine will also be at the showcase. Owen Tyler who played TE at Delaware is among players who will be in Ft.Worth.
I wonder if Derek Mountain has been been contacted regarding extending his football career?
