Dudzinski, Miller, Alexander, Evans, Burrell Sounds right.
Of this group, only Dudzinski ever made 1st team all-conference. Tells us much about the decade.

Dudzinski, Miller, Alexander, Evans, Burrell Evans (a freshman in 2008) doesn't precisely qualify.

Think that was the point of KY Crusader's question. RJ did play in 2010, 2011, and the spring half of 2012.

Win Shares (per basketball-ref) . . . Dudzinski, 11.4 Alexander, 9.3 Miller, 9.1 Floyd, 8.6 Brown, 8.1 Thompson, 6.4
Evans, 6.3 Burrell, 5.6 Champion, 5.4

Before somebody else mentions it, Muscala's 22.5 win shares was the PL high of the decade (Keith's 22.1 is high for HC this century, btw)

Burrell Miller Champion Give Rob some love, he hit the two biggest shots of the era. Against Bucknell in the playoffs to tie it and against Southern to win it. Alexander Floyd

Miller Alexander Floyd Dudzinski Evans No point guard but the best five players. No need for a point. No game to be played. But if Butler can be a point, so can RJ.

Quite a bit of consensus here. Only seven names put out for 5 spots.
Of the seven only Burrell and Evans started regularly as freshmen
As the guy with the most career points of anyone who played during the decade, I'd say that Devin Brown is worthy of being in the discussion

Anthony Thompson actually has more career win shares (6.4) than Burrell. Not a popular choice, perhaps, but belongs in the conversation.

I had forgotten about Devin. I will still take RJ as my 5th. Devin can be 6th man. Hopefully Joe P and Drew L. Will be on the next decade’s team.

Most of his work was in the last decade, but Andrew Keister did play a year this decade
Work motivation is low - way more fun working the memory for guys who played this decade

If we're searching for consensus, can we agree to just burn this decade to the ground (save the month of March 2016)? What a horror show.

Dudzinski Miller Floyd Alexander Evans ditto. these were the five best players, regardless of position. this was a lost decade for point guard play - and not coincidentally, winning basketball - but we did have some decent bigs in dudz, floyd, and malachi.

Can’t believe no one has mentioned my man Charlie Mills yet. Probably because he played so early in the decade.
